Planning, Design, Install & Config of Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE/PGP), Endpoint Protection (SEP) & Messaging Gateway (SMG) Products SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Providing relevant security product consulting services for 8 hrs
•Reviewing security & business reqs on an initial kick-off call
•Reviewing design, discussing pre-deployment tasks
•Installing, configuring & customizing Infrastructure in test environment in accordance w/ Customer approved security & business reqs
•Building custom policy to meet business reqs
•Testing 1 to 5 endpoint systems depending on time available/purchased by Customer
•Providing basic documentation, basic training during deployment

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Properly installing hardware/virtual environment for quoted solution in final location
•Providing remote access to Infrastructure for config & testing; temporary admin access to Infrastructure & access can be revoked after config is complete; a Project Manager who is accessible during normal business hours; expertise for other non-quoted components to be used w/ quoted solution
•Backing up all data on devices prior to Provider installing software on them
•Purchasing all software licenses up front, prior to deployment
•Limiting access to Customer network &/or facilities only as needed to perform Services; Providing only local admin access to server that software is being installed to

ASSUMPTIONS
•Deployment covers 1 server, at 1 Customer location
•Includes basic training & documentation, limited to 8 hrs of remote consulting services by a Level III Symantec Security Expert

ENGAGEMENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
Includes the following tasks:
•Completing Pre-Deployment Tasks list
•Provider will schedule 1 initial project planning, kick-off call w/ Customer to review pre-deployment checklist, finalize next steps, confirm deliverables
•Customer completing all pre-deployment tasks prior to deployment date

OUT OF SCOPE
•Production environment deployment handled by Customer; Provider to implement in test environment only
•Custom documentation for Admin & Help Desk
•Performing any other Services not specified herein

ITEM(S) PROVIDED
1.Basic Documentation: Server Admin Guide, User Guide

SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order

CUSTOMER LOCATIONS
Seller will provide Services at mutually agreed U.S. location

PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
1.Customer is responsible for providing all physical and network access, properly functioning hardware and software, and qualified personnel necessary for Seller’s performance of the Services
2.Customer will provide in advance all applicable Customer safety and security rules/procedures
3.Customer is responsible for all data, including back-up
4.Customer will provide reasonable cooperation with, and support of, Seller’s scheduling and performance
5.Customer will sign Seller’s project sign-off form upon completion of the Services
6.All Services will be performed at a single site, during Customer’s normal business hours
7.Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties

CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms & Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
