Rated 5 out of 5 byJerky from It works.This is a simple Adapter and it works. No drivers needed on anything I have used it with. The design allows you to pull and push on it and the RS-232 adapter does not come apart like others I have used. I am buying a couple more for work.

But even the good ones would always run into a device which it was not compatible with or a Windows OS for which the driver was not stable enough, until we found this TrendNet adapter. Now we standardize on the Trendnet because it has never given us a problem in the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 byghens from Its always worked on every PC ive tried!Is worth a couple extra bucks for one that just works!. Ive gone through many cheap USB to serial adapters that have required searching for drivers, using 3rd party tools to figure out what the hardware even is, or that flat out don't work, maybe the 1st time, maybe 5 uses later on same PC. This adapter works every time on every Windows pc I've tried it on. I work in a corporate hub with 70 remote locations and this is the adapter I tell remote techs to buy when one is needed. No one has had a problem.
