Called the company and they sent a new one and had it within a week for no charge. Great warranty and company that stands behind their products in the unlikely event it's needed.

I spent hours looking for a replacement and ran upon the Tripp-Lite TouchMaster 6-Outlet Under-Monitor Surge Protector. This under monitor power supply is extremely simple to install and you are up and running in minutes! The great thing is everything is label on the front and the back with your component labels, very simple. I now can control each of my component, which is great, since I do not like to have components running unless I need them. This item is great for desktop users.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDa Cog from Love it!I have had an under-monitor surge protector from a different manufacturer for several years and recently it finally broke down, literally. The top panel broke and that pretty much told me I needed a new one. I couldn't find another one from that manufacturer that was anything like mine, or that was in my price range. I knew Tripp-lite made under-monitor surge protectors so I checked them out. The one I found was smaller than the old I had, had all the ports I needed and was priced right. I decided to buy two. One for my computer and one for my wife. We are very pleased with the operation and small size. The monitor fits with room to spare. We have had 2 power outages since they were installed and they protected the computers, monitors and printer that are plugged into them. They fit great, look great and work great. What else can I say except it is probably the best (and least expensive) investment we have made for any of our electronic equipment. We're well protected and I have a lot more room on my desk now!

It has excellent protection with a high joule rating and multiple features at an affordable price. Dependable and reliable. Works as advertised. No problems with it at all. Does not get hot also.
