This consulting engagement is designed to provide a proof of concept migration from VMware ESX Server 2.x and optionally VMware VirtualCenter Management Server 1.x to VMware Infrastructure 3, which includes both components. Through this proof of concept, you will gain an understanding of the resources and best practices required to determine the upgrade path best suited for your environment.
Requirements:
Existing VMware VirtualCenter 1.x and ESX Server 2.x test environment installed on supported server hardware;
Supported VMware Infrastructure 3 test environment.
