The VMware View Premier Campus-Wide Program provides campuses with the ability to deliver rich, personalized virtual desktops from a virtualization platform built to deliver the entire desktop, not just applications. This allows campuses to provide students with unlimited access to the full suite of VMware View Premier products, including View Manager and View Composer, VMware vShield Endpoint, VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter Server, VMware ThinApp and VMware Workstation.

The perpetual license under this Program is geared towards Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Students, Part Time Students, Staff and Faculty and is offered on a concurrent connection basis. This means that if you have 6,000 students, but run labs with a 50 percent concurrent connection rate, you will only require 3,000 licenses.
