ViewSonic SC-T25 - USFF - Cortex-A53 BCM2837 1.2 GHz - 1 GB - 8 GB is rated 3.00 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overpriced and limited features, not worth the money The guts of this device is simply a $35 raspberry pi 3 and a 8GB (generic, low-speed) microSD card.... also, ViewSonic has taken it upon themselves to use a restricted (and very slow) version of the Rasperian OS that bogs the device down. The pi is meant to be customized and modified however Viewsonic has put a "warrant void if removed" sticker over the seal in the case so it can't be opened.... ridiculous considering Raspberry Pi sells OEM cameras and touchscreens as well as other devices that are intended to be connected... just not with ViewSonic's model!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously? After messing around with this thing for two days, I have come to the conclusion that RDP is not supported. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The one job that a thin client needs to do and it's not supported? The official response I get from Viewsonic is that this product is "optimized for Citrix HDX" which would be great if I actually used that overpriced bloatware. Do you really think someone looking to buy a $100 client is going to be using Citrix? What's really ridiculous is that out of the box, you are prompted for a host address to connect via RDP, and it does just that. As soon as you connect to the configuration panel in order to get it to autoconnect and/or disable the screensaver, the protocol changes to "web" and there's no option to select RDP ever again without restoring the factory defaults. The VIewsonic Device manager, if you can actually find it for download (good luck with that) doesn't allow RDP either, returning "unsupported protocol" if you try. FAIL. Thanks for nothing ViewSonic! For $35 I can buy an off-the-shelf Raspberry PI, which I would be fine with if CDW sold them! This could be a great product if they fix the firmware to allow RDP. Still waiting on my support ticket, maybe I can revise my review if I ever hear from them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product thanks to the upgrade to NoTouch OS Thanks to the ViewSonic SC-T25's new operating system, NoTouch OS, I can gladly say that this is the #1 most productive Raspberry Pi based Thin Client on the Market. Stratodesk has delivered on its promise of making the Raspberry Pi enterprise grade by supporting Multi-Monitoring/dual view, Skype for Business, and high graphics display. You can now fully manage your VDI environment with NoTouch Center –something we found massively helpful given our mixed environment. And in addition, because we are a hospital with specific needs, we found the Imprivata support for features like Fast User Switching and Single Sign On, integral to our operations. Highly recommend to small businesses and large enterprises alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enterprise class terminal This product has been updated to use the Stratodesk NoTouch Desktop software. Good move! (Beware the two old reviews were about the previous generation with other software). Flawless enterprise-level management. And yes, to one of the other reviewers of , it does do RDP, lol. Compared to a normal Thin client of about $350, this is incredibly cheap and provides same performance. We use it with Skype For Business optimization.
