WD Arkeia delivers features to enable "hybrid cloud backups" for appliances, to expand support for source-side dedupe, and to simplify deployment of WD Arkeia appliances. WD Arkeia was the first backup software vendor to announce cloud "seeding and feeding, " as well as the capability to recover multiple backup sets on USB-connected disk, all using deduplicated data formats. WD Arkeia source capacity license of 1TB - capacity from 1TB to 2TB - to be sold with or as an extension of a WD Arkeia Basic Bundle.
