The Wasp WLS8600 industrial barcode scanner is a cordless laser scanner designed to withstand the harshest industrial environments. Featuring a lightweight rugged enclosure, the WLS8600 is perfectly suited for reading all common one-dimensional (1D) barcodes in the yard, warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing facility, or outdoor retail stores.
Superior performance is delivered by a high performance laser scan engine capable of reading standard 1D barcodes from over 3 feet. In addition to reading barcodes from longer range, the WLS8600 reads poorly printed, damaged, and dirty barcodes commonly found in warehouses, distribution centers, and outdoor retail environments.
For collecting and reviewing data in the field, the cordless WLS8600 is second to none in both efficiency and reliability. It features a 3-key keypad with graphic backlit display for fast data entry and review. It can withstand multiple 6.5 foot drops to concrete. To ensure environmental conditions don’t slow you down, the WLS8600 carries an IP64 water and particulate sealing rating which protects against dust and liquid spills.
The WLS8600 includes a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty covering material defects. Manufacturer warranties can be extended and upgraded to cover accidental breakage with the purchase of an optional WaspProtect Extended Service Plan.
