WatchGuard’s Mobile Security service utilizes the FireClient app to deliver an additional layer of network defense by only allowing access from mobile devices that adhere to current corporate policy. Firebox administrators can prevent access from rooted or jailbroken devices, and block access from devices that download applications from unauthorized sources. The service includes malware scans on Android devices. Administrators can take a granular approach to their BYOD policy by enforcing rules for acceptable OS level and device type.
