Removable Media Encryption gives organizations the power to fully encrypt USB drives, CDs & DVDs with the same robust sector-based encryption used by SecureDoc to encrypt hard drives. Because SecureDoc interacts with the read/write processes on the host computer, SecureDoc’s Disk Access Control functionality can define policies for all removable media relating to read/write to any disk, including restrictions based on encryption status. All files copied onto these devices are then automatically encrypted with no requirement for user intervention.
