Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best keyboard EVER! I have been using Zagg products for several years. I've had this keyboard for my iPad Air for a couple of years. Love the versatility because I use it to teach at a podium. The plastic hinge part broke twice and each time they replaced it with no hassle. Zagg always stands by their products. Wish there could be a fix to the hinge so it didn't continue to stretch and break, but as long as they replace it I'm a satisfied customer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy customer I have had the Slim Book Case with Backlit Keyboard for the Apple IPad Air 2 replaced about 6 times because the hinges keep breaking. I have decided the try a different one. I am so unhappy and am getting very tired of returning my keyboards for replacement. Hopefully the new one works out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for a while I've had a slim book since the day I got my iPad in august last year and I already had to ship it back because of the poor quality. For something short term or that won't be used that much but I bought mine for school and it wore out pretty quick. Keys started popping out, the magnets that hold in the iPad popped out, and the case for the iPad and the patr that the iPad connects to cracked. Luckily it has a 1 year warranty and I was able to get a new one in the mail. In the future after this one breaks I'm going to buy a better keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This a warranty replacement for the same product. Zagg went out of their way to make sure I was happy. The previous case became unusable as the hinge was not moving. We will see hoe the new one goes.I love the case, the keyboard, the features.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good keyboard but hinge broke I bought this in January (2016) and while the keyboard itself works great - great battery life, easy to use and attach/detach, feels like I'm using a laptop - after less than a year, the hinge is broken (it sticks) so when I try closing it, the iPad pops off every time now. I've asked for a replacement and was told it's on it's way. Hopefully, this issue has been resolved because I've read others have encountered the same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great companion to iPad, hinge is weak point Bought a white/gold slimbook about 9 months ago. Really liked everything about the design and functionality of the keyboard until the hinge decided to crack and then break along the centerline of the "U" channel. The unit was typically opened and closed at most a couple of times a day and never abused. I returned to the Zagg shop in our local mall where I purchased it and was told that the white cases were more prone to the hinge failure and that was why they had pretty much stopped carrying them. They accepted seeing my credit card statement as proof of date of purchase and replaced the broken unit with a new black one. Personally I think the hinge friction is a bit too tight, especially for the thin channel that holds the iPad in place. Regardless, this is a great keyboard!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after 3 weeks I really liked this case and used it exclusively for about 3 weeks. It was the perfect solution for a teacher...I could go from typing to quickly walking around with just the device to assess student work. However after about 3 weeks of use, it began to be harder and harder to open and set up. Then one day I noticed that one of the tabs that helps hold it in had broken off in the case and rendered the case completely unusable. So disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money As others have commented, the hinge is not made of quality material. Mine broke within the first 8 months. This is an expensive case and poor quality. Do not make the same mistake that i did by purchasing this, waste of money.
