Google Cloud Next 2026: CDW Is Introducing Agentic AI for the Public Sector
While OEMs and service providers aim their agentic artificial intelligence offerings at the enterprise, CDW is bringing the technology to government agencies and their contractors.
At Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas, leading technology providers touted their latest offerings to help enterprises unlock the efficiency and productivity that agentic artificial intelligence promises to deliver. CDW was one of those providers, but its target audience wasn’t exclusively enterprise organizations: CDW is eyeing the public sector as well.
At the event, CDW’s Steve Thamasett and Kate Fink demonstrated an agentic AI use case designed to help government agencies and contractors identify Controlled Unclassified Information to help protect against the release of sensitive data. While the process of examining and identifying this kind of information isn’t new, the use of agentic AI to comb through volumes of documents and applications is driving significant efficiency and speeding up the process.
