A REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
Reimagining the Public’s Path to Critical Information
When a state court system acknowledged that its public-facing website was challenging to update and maintain, difficult to navigate and not fully accessible to all Utah constituents, it knew the time had come for change. The site needed to support a diverse audience — from legal professionals to community members, including those representing themselves in court — with easy navigation, timely information and a clearer view of how citizens interact with the site.
The agency turned to CDW Government to lead a complete redesign and replatforming of the current web experience. The mission: Make the site intuitive, ensure the compliance and accuracy of information available to communities, and give staff better tools to manage content without technical roadblocks.
THE TURNING POINT
Creating a Citizen-Centric Digital Experience
CDW Government worked closely with the agency to create a more user-friendly site using Adobe Experience Manager as a cloud service for streamlined content management and future-ready scalability. A thoughtfully planned, phased rollout minimized disruption to constituents while allowing business users to review, update and migrate thousands of information-heavy pages to the new website.
THE RESULTS
A Platform of Trust
The redesigned site now offers a clear, accessible experience that makes it easier for the public to find services and information. Staff can post updates in minutes instead of hours, helping ensure accurate, timely communication. The scalable architecture supports future growth without compromising performance, and provides a foundation rooted in best practices to ensure future enhancements focus on enhancing instead of rebuilding.
Here’s why it worked:
- Extensive collaboration ensured the new solution met the diverse needs of all users
- Adobe Experience Manager simplified content authoring and ensured consistency across pages
- Secure, scalable architecture supports both current needs and future growth without sacrificing availability or experience
- Phased rollout kept public access uninterrupted
What’s next?
The agency is now exploring ways to continue improving user experiences, such as utilizing AI to enhance searchability or streamlining the process for constituents to self-represent in select legal scenarios.
