Returns
General Information
- Your approved RMA number is valid for 10 calendar days.
- Shipping is generally the responsibility of the sender. However, some returns may be eligible for pre-paid shipping.
- We recommend insuring the items as CDW is not liable for lost or damaged merchandise.
Preparing and Sending Your Return
- Securely pack all boxes.
- Include all items from the original shipment, such as the original manufacturer's box and packing material, all accessories, UPC bar codes and manuals.
- For printers, fax machines or copiers, please remove all toner and ink cartridges to prevent spillage during shipping. Package them separately, either in another box or sealed inside a plastic bag within the return item’s box.

Fort Worth, TX 76140 - Print and attach the shipping label and include the RMA #.
- Clearly note the RMA # on the shipping label and packing slip for each box. Please do not record the RMA # on the original manufacturer's box.
- ReturnPro is instructing the customer to legibly write the RMA # on the label but also on the packing slip provided.
- Remove or cover any existing shipping labels on the package and attach the new shipping label using clear tape.
- Drop off your items at a convenient location or schedule carrier pickup.
- If your return is eligible and the package is over 150 pounds or greater than 165 inches in girth, CDW Customer Relations will contact you to schedule carrier pickup.
- All international duty fees are paid by the sender. We recommend that you use UPS, Federal Express or DHL for any lightweight orders to help ensure your packages clear customs. Please use AIT for heavyweight orders.
Getting Your Resolution
- Returns:
- If you paid using net terms, we’ll issue a credit to your CDW account as soon as your return is complete. The credit will be available within 24 hours.
- Note: A credit can be used by contacting your Account Manager or Sales Support.
- If you paid with a credit or debit card, we’ll issue a refund as soon as the return is complete. A refund generally appears on your payment method within 7 business days. However, it could take additional time for your financial institution to process the refund.
- If you paid using net terms, we’ll issue a credit to your CDW account as soon as your return is complete. The credit will be available within 24 hours.
- · Replacements:
- Replacement items are generally sent after your request is approved. You’ll receive a refund or credit for the original items, and we’ll issue a new invoice for the replacement items.
