Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Products from Aerohive We have been using the Aerohive AP121s for quite a few months now. We got a trial one from Aerohive and its been GREAT!! A much improvement on our old system. Its extremely easy to install, and configure. The range on just the one we have will go to almost any where in the building, and we have a 40k SqFt production floor with mostly open air, still not bad. We went with the AP121 due to cost, I wanted to have the option to get 802.11ac but the cost was to great, .11n suites us fine for now. Overall I have had nearly no issues with this AP, the one time I did have an issue the LED on the unit let me know something wasn't right so we could get it fixed. The issue was it had been running for a couple months without a connection to the Aerohive website for settings and control. So if you loose connection to the internet you will still be good and your wireless will stay up and running no problem!! It's great these can run without a controller.
