An automatically updated, near real-time view of the current location and status of mobile assets and resources layered with data from core business systems such as GIS, Customer Information, Dispatch, Work Management, and Outage Management provides an unmatched awareness of mobile operations. .XML based web service call tools allow the enterprise to integrate data from legacy systems and middleware such as WebSphere, JBOSS, BEA, TIBCo, and other messaging middleware. AVaiL can display real-time third party data sources such as lightning strikes and other streaming .xml data. AVaiL can also accept data from existing GPS modems to leverage legacy investments in GPS location reporting technology. AVaiL does not displace existing systems, hardware, and data sources – it unifies them into a single global command and control view of mobile operations.
