Minimize the threat of virus attacks on NetWare file servers with McAfee NetShield for NetWare. Running as a series of NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs), McAfee NetShield for NetWare requires no complicated set-up, and combines the award winning McAfee scan engine with advanced virus-scanning technology for unmatched management capabilities. NetShield detects virus-infected files that are being accessed, copied or written to the server, and, once detected, the infected files are automatically cleaned, quarantined, or deleted. NetShield for NetWare provides continuous, comprehensive protection for your servers.

On-access scanning protects NetWare users in real-time when files are accessed, copied or written to the server. NetShield also offers scheduled scanning for extra peace of mind.

The NetShield award winning scanning and cleaning engine is proven effective time after time, and is consistently awarded scores of 100% in independent detection and cleaning tests.

NetShield for NetWare integrates easily with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) to provide policy management, detailed graphical reporting, and software deployment. ePO can also deploy anti-virus update files (.DAT files) to the NetWare servers in your organization.

The McAfee Security scan engine can be upgraded via FTP, without interrupting NetWare service. In addition, passive and active functionality is included, which removes Firewalls as a potential barrier to updating.
