Rated 5 out of 5 byJPinVT from Good performance, missing featuresI finally got a native android device so I could join the rest of the universe in app-land. I was just starting to really like it. Crisp display, fast, seamless apps, etc. Then, I tried to mirror it to my Samsung TV. No built-in mirroring. Tried at least 8 apps. No mirror. Really? I can mirror my Kindle to the Samsung without any issue - an no downloads. Just tap mirror display and they see each other and connect. I can't believe a SAMSUNG device cannot see it's cousin and connect!! This is a serious omission.

Rated 5 out of 5 byNearoffutt from Bright screenThis was a nice tablet at Verizon, for $25 and extending out my contract. This is my forth tablet in seven years. They don't last long and quickly vi out of date. No flash for the camera sucks. The power cord is too short to reach from my outlet and over my desk. I call Samsung to order a longer cable but they would not say they didn't carry one, I guess it was a cultural issue that made them unable to say no to a customer. The speed is good, and the Nougant OS good enough. Battery is very slow to charge with a third party charger cord. My job is at a place where no extension cords are allowed. The size is perfect, screen big enough to read, but the tablet still fits in my jacket pocket. I would recommend this $25 tablet.

It is so easy to use.. and b/c I bought it from Verizon, it comes with it's own phone no, so I don't have to use the mifi to connect to the internet.. pleasant surprise.. I don't have to be concerned about charging the mifi.

It freezes in terms of scrolling between screens and has jittery touch response. Also the verticle split screen in the settings view is very annoying. Wish I could change that. But for the price I paid for it, $35.00 new, it serves as a good backup tablet overall. Battery is really better than in their cell phones. Outer body really slippery... So have a good cover. Too bad there's no trade up value for it.

Ever since the recent update the tablet has been alright, but from the very start the tablet has moments where it freezes up then starts back up again almost like there is something in the background every so often starting up using up all available resources then instantly comes back and works fine. this is all through normal use, but recently outside my normal use which consists of the device staying in my vehicle 100% of the time to stream music over blue tooth to my radio. it was great until two weeks ago when the system hangs began to effect audio quality causing it to skip like a scratched CD for a couple seconds then would play then skip then play. intervals of 10 seconds for each. It has gotten so unbearable that i brought it in for factory reset thinking oh this is great this should hopefully fix it. instead it is still there and is only getting worse. barely had it for a year and now im stuck with another year of a contract for a device that barely works. The keyboard response is slow delayed and lagging constantly causing me to go back and retype words. I have to type at a beginning keyboarders level just for accuracy. If you want to get your kids something that has mobile data access this will be fine for them.
