Will get the job done.
Very light and easy to use.
Screen brightness is fine for indoors and stand is not the most secure.

Just because it doesn't work for Mac doesn't mean it doesn't work. When used with a real laptop it works great.

Simple, Functional
The monitor is light and easily portable. It worked without drivers or hassle. I buy them for corporate travelers who need multiple monitors and have had no support issues yet.

Great Screen
I use 3 screens at my office, so I'm used to multitasking across screens. Having a portable 2nd screen while out of the office is awesome.

Does Not Work with Mac
I tried to get this to work with my Macbook but it would not be recognized. I tried to get help from the ASUS support desk but it was impossible so I gave up and returned it.

Great Second Monitor
I purchased this monitor so when working remote or travelling with my laptop I could have a second screen. Very easy to setup and have operational. It comes with a nice travel case/cover too. The monitor is perfect for my use. The only reason i indicated Good on design is that the "stand" for the monitor is to prop up using the travel case and i am not sure how that will work out for long term. It works now, but might have to consider another method for holding monitor upright.

Best screen you can
The quality of this screen is awesome. The price is reasonable. It is very difficult to find it these days available. I had to wait until it is was back available in stock and it was worth the wait.

Great portable screen for this price!
Pros:
1. 1920x1080 IPS panel with Matte finish. (Superior to my ThinkPad W510 15.6” 1080p Matte screen.
2. Only one connection - USB 3.0 (No extra power source needed)
3. ASUS MB169B+ even works on USB 2.0 (No extra power)
4. Lightweight and fits along with laptop in laptop bag
5. Good for Programmer, PowerPoint or any other documentation. Very crisp display.
6. Motion picture quality: MB169B+ has a good display for watching movies. Some people complain that colors are washed out.
That's a characteristic of IPS panel. Furthermore, I think it is subjective.
7. MB169B+ Mouse Lag: Observed No Lag when used for Programming, documentation, web browsing, YouTube, Netflix.
However, gamers would notice a lag.
8. Screen auto-tilt function works well (as tested on Windows 7)
9. Viewable from all angles (IPS panel)
Cons:
1. Supplied Stand is not good enough. I bought $10 Anker Stand
2. Support for Linux drivers: ASUS MB169B+ does not work on rpm based Linux (CentOS, RHEL).

bought this once lockdown started and so glad i did, wanted a portable second monitor that would work with the widest variaty posible without breaking the bank and this was it, excellent picture for non hd and no issues so far

Great compact high quality display!!
I really enjoy using this monitor with my Chromebook Pixelbook. The majority of the time I use it to present to my clients where they are sitting on the opposite side of the table. The mirror function works great and the colors are reproduced faithfully. I can get through a 3 hour meeting on a single charge.
As a day trader, I extensively use this second monitor to watch the stock price movements and pull triggers relying on fast refresh rate. This second display does the trick and i actually prefer to use this monitor as my main display thanks to the 1080P display and ultra fast refresh rate.
On the entertainment side, I find it extremely useful to watch sports team on different monitors, the refresh rate and clearly is superb. Not to mention it's super lightweight i can easily fit it with my regular laptop in the same case. Often times i'd forget i am carrying an extra monitor with me.
All in all, i highly recommend this monitor to anyone who needs mulitple quality, and compact display to pair up with your laptop. You can't go wrong with ASUS brand!!

Good monitor, stand not so greate
This monitor works very well - it has a clear picture and the same resolution as my laptop so it's easy to move from one screen to the other. The case is supposed to function as a stand, but it's not so good -- the angle can't really be adjusted and the monitor is not help securely, it could easily topple off. I purchased a simple wire tablet stand for about $7 and that's what I'll use.
ASUS includes a year of accidental damage coverage for some products but I haven't been able to find out if it applies to this one. I called customer service but never got an answer or a call back.
