Printer Ink Misrepresentation
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This ‘standard’ yield ink cartridge is “supposed” to print 300 pages…I didn’t get 25 pages before printer gave ‘ink low’ message. I always print on the lowest quality setting to save ink, but it doesn’t make any difference….i NEVER get the 300 pages the package states I should get. When I called customer support to register a complaint, the rep asked if my ink cartridge has a yellow ‘circuit board’ on top and if it doesn’t, then I’m not using ‘genuine’ brother ink. I purchased the BROTHER/Inobella ink at Office Depot, so if that is not genuine Brother ink, WHY do you recommend Office Depot and Staples as distributors for the ink. I will never buy a Brother printer again, nor would I recommend on just because of the cost incurred when the ink doesn’t print as many pages as advertised. That, in my opinion, if blatant false advertising.
