Rated 5 out of 5 bySnap It from Just got the G7X II to replace my G7XI’ve been very happy with my G7X for the past 3 years. A friend was interested in buying it from me ... so... I sold it once I received the G7X II. I appreciate the several new features that they added to it as well as the Digic 7 processor

Rated 5 out of 5 bytmsfan24 from Fully functional camera in a small sizeI bought the G7X Mark II to have a smaller camera to backup my DSLR. The camera is just small enough to fit into a pocket and travels well. I have found the G7X to be fully functional compared to a full size DLSR. The photo quality is outstanding and on par with my EOS 7D. I have really renjoyed shooting the camera and can recommend it for travel photrgraphy.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMrOjoVerdes from Great multi tasking cameraSo I bought this nifty little number for my holiday, was going to Yosemite national park, some beaches, so I wanted something small that could do lots of different shots in different environments. This camera does them all with ease, the more proficient camera user could mess around with the settings and such like and you would love it, for the novice, you can just leave it in auto and let the camera do it all for you.\Wifi connecting is a great plus, the app works perfectly on my phone and this just means you can upload to various sites etc that we all love to use these days. The flip up screen makes selfies (we all do them) so easy and also for the modern day Vloggers this just makes life to easy too.Great battery life, lightweight, not too bulky, for the money you can do a lot worse trust me.If you have the means to do so then I would consider buying this camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMaury56 from Written instructions.Got this camera for Xmas 2017. Takes great pictures. Needs a case to carry it in. I got a TAMRAC 5692 which works for camera with filter attachment and also has separate pocket for charger which you must take on trips. Also got a nice soft EYESKEY neck strap for binoculars which I like. Also got a 32GB fast memory card for use with video. BUT - cannot buy any instruction book anywhere. Camera comes with a small "Getting Started" manual which has a lot of information about all functions but I like a big book.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydivadsirrah from A great walk around cameraI started out with the Panasonic ZS100 and was very disappointed with the picture quality. Although the Cannon has a shorter reach, the yield of better pictures is well worth losing the focal range

Rated 5 out of 5 bySJNBham from Missing panorama feature and electronic viewfinderI chose this camera over its competitors because of the touchscreen feature. However, I was disappointed to find out the photo stitch assist is missing in this Mark II model. I believe it is available in the previous model. Also the lack of an electronic viewfinder was a big trade-off. I eventually ended up going with this because of the lack of touchscreen in the competition. Would be wonderful if Canon released a firmware update to add a panorama option in the Scene mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCat Mama from Great camera; lousy camera strapI just purchased this camera, and so far, I'm delighted with it. What I am not delighted with is the strap that came with the camera. For the price, it should have come with a better neck strap. However, this doesn't take away from the camera itself at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 bygug1953 from Good Camera!I bought this because of all the stellar reviews that are online about this camera. It meets all my expectations in daily shooting. In some of the other reviews here I see the complaints about the panoramic function missing. This is no deal breaker by any stretch and performed subpar to begin with. Upload just about any image panorama software for free and it will do a better job. There is no doubt it is a good camera but what is not disclosed in any of the reviews I read are in order of importance to me:* The macro mode on this camera at best is mediocre, no make that simply bad. It gets no closer than 2" and the peripheral part of the picture is completely out of focus. My G12, G16, 280, 700 all take excellent macro and this simply doesn't. So if this is a function you are looking for in your camera this is not a good choice. * The video on this camera is no better than any of the above mentioned cameras.* Why is Canon including chargers with an extension cord that I received when they also manufacture the conventional charger with the attached flip out plug.*
