SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Assign the customer one exclusive static public IP address at a specific CDW site for VPN purposes (renewable annually)
•Provide secure housing for Customer provided VPN appliance
•Provide the Internet circuit connection via Ethernet at a specific CDW site
•Rack the VPN appliance in a climate-controlled Configuration Center facility that maintains limited access through a badged entry electronic system and is monitored by a video camera surveillance system 24x7.
•Make all necessary wiring connections to ensure VPN connectivity
•Contact Customer upon arrival of the pre-configured VPN appliance at CDW to verify and validate VPN traffic to Customer’s site
•Provide ongoing maintenance of the technical infrastructure needed to maintain the VPN environment
•Ensure that the customer’s VPN appliance can only be reached from the public IPs provided by the customer
•Endeavor to make the VPN connection available 24x7
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Provide CDW with a fully configured Site-to-Site VPN appliance to be hosted at CDW
•Configure, manage and support VPN appliance hardware, software and firmware
•Provide CDW with the public IP addresses the customer will be coming from for management and VPN connectivity
ASSUMPTIONS
•The Customer provided VPN appliance cannot have built in Wi-Fi
•Public IP Addresses at CDW Las Vegas are on a different network then those at CDW Vernon Hills
•Public IP Address assigned to customers are specific to each customer
•Customer will be on their own dedicated physical and logical network; therefore, customers can use any subnet/network and DHCP scope of their choice on the LAN side of the VPN tunnel
•Customer is not required to share any VPN pre-share key, network security parameters or login information to CDW, since customer will manage both ends of the VPN tunnel
•The VPN appliance is customer owned equipment and can be requested back at any time
OUT OF SCOPE
•Configuration or maintenance of the VPN appliance
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any single Netcom device (up to 3U form factor), and its supported hardware options.
• The IOS/Firmware/System Software update(s) must be supported by the hardware manufacturer.
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms and Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
