Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Amazing mouse for any level gamer Corsair has recently released the Nightblade gaming mouse which seems to share the same fit and finish to their Dark Core mouse. The Nightsword is an ergonomic mouse with an almost tacky grip that doesn’t overheat in your hand. I have a large hand and it fit in my hand nicely. I like the thumb guard and it would be nice to have another on the outside because I have a wide hand. The button layout is very similar to a couple of competitors with a large "Sniper" button, DPI settings, and programmable button in easy reach. I also really liked tuning the mouse using the included weights that can change the weight between 4.2 to 5.0 ounces. The programming of buttons and coloring is easily changed using the ICUE software. The DPI indicator on the left side of the mouse allows you change on the fly up to 18,000 dpi so you can get into "Sniping" mode and back out quickly. I tried the mouse with a couple of different games as well as work use and I could fly a spaceship or do detailed graphics work easily. The grip and texture were great and were something I got used to very quickly.
