Rated 5 out of 5 byformerly_big_fat_husband from Worthwhile Memory Upgrade4GB is adequate for running Win 10 and I'm more than satisfied with the system performance, I wish that the system's motherboard had additional slots for more memory. I did note that even with 4GB, the performance metrics found in Task Manager displayed adequate utilization across the board between the CPU, disk and memory.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBilly from Easy to install no guess workThis is a nice product, easy to install and no guess work picking it out. It increased speed but not as much as I thought it would. It seems as my computer may have other issues with too many programs and processes running at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySRCTech from Works great! These sticks work in three different types of PCs built in our shop, they operate Win7 with a VMWare of XP, without fault or overheating. Our shop is quite dusty due to traffic outside the roll doors, our shop temp. ranges from 35F- 90F, and these sticks hold up to the environment!

Rated 5 out of 5 byMousy from Ended browser slowness but not occasional freezesThis memory upgrade maxed out the ram on an older 32-bit Win XP machine that is mainly used to run persistent Linux Live disk systems. Linux systems see the ram as 3.5GB, while Win XP sees the ram as 3.25GB. This upgrade allows the Linux systems to run with both the "toram" and "persistent" boot codes and allows the Live disk to be removed from the CD/DVD drive after boot to the desktop. It also vastly improved the Firefox browser performance by ending slowness but not intermittent freezes which would cause the browser to close and require browser restart. In fact, I just experienced a freeze while writing this review. This upgrade allowed me to transfer the OEM 2GB ram to another desktop machine that had only 1GB of ram which really improved the terrible Firefox performance on that machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBill from Worked PerfectlyChoosing the proper RAM upgrade to increase the performance of my older PC was confusing to me. I made use of the Crucial scanning tool for suggested upgrades. I ordered the suggested product, and it worked perfectly. Easy to install. Doubling my RAM from 4 gb to 8 gb improved my PC performance tremendously. No issues so far after 2 weeks of continuous use. Shipping was fast, and arrived before the promised date.
