Beware, does not fit all the systems it lists.
I have a new Inspiron model 5558 and even though the product specs for this adapter say it will work, it will NOT. The power plug that goes into the laptop is a much smaller size than the typical 90W laptop that comes on this adapter. So it does not fit. The 5558 is a 45 watt system. What a waste of time. And the worst part is there in no 12v power adapter that will power this laptop since Dell will only allow you to use Dell adapters and they don't have one for this system. Very disappointed!!

I did an online chat with Dell and they recommended this for my laptop so I ordered it but it was not the correct one and they don't have one that will work

The website and the Dell representative I spoke with assured me that the item would fit my Dell Inspiron 16 Plus. It did not. Apparently, when Dell changed to the smaller size power jack, they neglected to resize the DC adapter and did not make one to fit my laptop.
