This was perfect but while my mouse paired beautifully with my blue tooth Dell the keyboard will not pair. Computer sees it and prompts for the connect but cannot do it!! Still stuck with 2 keyboards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard very nice quality - Mouse is very bad, connectivity issues. I bought this keyboard and mouse combo for a low profile feel and slim look, and it is exactly that. Keyboard is great, look and feel, but it suffers from connectivity issues, bluetooth is poor, mouse is not usable. Not a premium product in my opinion for those reasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Responsive I've been using this Dell premier wireless keyboard and mouse on my Acer laptop when I hook it into my TV and it works great. It gives me that extra large monitor and desktop feel while still using my laptop. O connect using bluetooth and have absolutely no problems. I can still connect my phone bluetooth headphones without any interference or anything. The keyboard feels very sturdy and every key response to my keystroke. The mouse is comfortable and works o every single surface. Even my leg! I'm glad I picked this up!

I can store my these itmes in my laptop bag with my laptop. Which is great because I travel for work and this is easy to use in the hotel rooms. I really enjoy this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Can Be Decieving Like many of you have, or probably will, I fell in love with this product, both keyboard, and mouse, at first sight for a couple of reasons: the design (look and feel) as well as its functionality. Instantly, I believed this product to be of "premier" quality, not because it's in the name, but because it's from Dell, and, having previous experience with other flagship products, I felt confident that these items would work and feel great. As expected, both mouse and keyboard have a premium look and feel. The mouse, with its sleek original shape and flushed left and right buttons, fits snugly into my hand and its arched body gives my wrist the support it needs. I also appreciate the placement of the button in the middle that allows for an easy switch from one device to another or from using the Bluetooth connection to the USB 3.0 wireless transceiver. The full-sized keyboard contains all the key shortcuts I need (with the exception of a calculator button!), and typing on it feels great. I love how the back of the keyboard is simultaneously used as a battery storage and kickstand; no need to worry about breaking one or both of the two separate pieces that most other keyboards use! HOWEVER, upon using this product, I began to experience the same issues that others have in regards to connectivity. I purchased this seemingly "premier" product because it allowed for Bluetooth connectivity with my new 13" Dell XPS 9370 laptop, freeing me from having to rely on a dongle to connect the mouse and keyboard with a USB 3.0 wireless transceiver. I am gravely disappointed at having found that the Bluetooth connection (especially the mouse) isn't consistent. I've had to disconnect and pair the devices with my laptop several times after the mouse COMPLETELY stopped working. Furthermore, after having conceded any chance of having a Bluetooth mouse, I plugged in the USB 3.0 wireless transceiver via a dongle, and STILL, the mouse is dysfunctional! The cursor constantly lags in response when I move the mouse. This is very disappointing coming from a manufacturer like Dell and having paid such a premium for this product! I've also only had this product for two weeks! It's apparent that multiple purchasers have had this same issue without any resolve from Dell. If it weren't for the device's build quality, I would have only given this product 1 star. Yes, the mouse and keyboard are sleek and stylish, however, looks can be deceiving...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connection Issues I really wanted to love this keyboard and mouse. The mouse is a great size, and feels great in my hand. The navigation buttons on the side are a huge bonus, and the style of the mouse looks great.. The keyboard is sleek, and they keys are easy and quiet. Depending on what brand of laptop you have, the keyboard may be different. The fn and ctrl keys on the left of this keyboard are reversed from my laptop keyboard, which has caused some confusion. Connecting with the dongle directly to my laptop, no problems. However, when I connect it to my dock, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to connect each time I dock my laptop, which is a pain. I would prefer to have this connected to my docking station and continue to use a portable mouse in my laptop's USB port. I have to leave USB ports free to connect for presentations at the office, so I am stuck carrying this mouse or taking the dongle out each time. There is nowhere in the mouse or keyboard to store the dongle, so I see it getting lost eventually. I will likely be replacing this set once I find a better option.However, since this replaced and ancient corded keyboard, it's better than to what I had.

The connection to the USB is intermittent both for the keyboard and for the mouse. Dell takes no responsibility for the problem so it is pretty useless to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Keyboard - USB Signal Issue - Mouse Has No Sides I really like the keyboard, it looks and feels great. It has a nice weight to it and good rubber strips to keep it in place. I have the same issue with the USB connectivity that the other reviewer had. I find it to be inconsistent and sometimes the keyboard lags or misses keystrokes. Other times its fine (like right now typing this). Bluetooth works great with my laptop so shouldn't be an issue but the USB transmitter does seem to have some issues. I have my desktop up behind my monitor with the USB transmitter facing my so I can get decent connection. The mouse on the other hand would probably be fine but doesn't work for me due to its curved shape without the body depth. I realized after getting this mouse that I hold mice between my thumb and pinky (I have large hands) so this curved mouse doesn't work for me since there are no sides to grab. Not a fault of the mouse, just a preference to be aware of. Other than the USB connection issue the keyboard is excellent.

I initially thought the number pad wasn't working since it didn't light up, but was wrong. It is light and convenient - most buttons seem to be in the right place and is relatively quiet typing. The only thing annoying is the mouse buttons sometimes get in the way (the side navigation buttons), and I sometimes find myself with a right click popup or not navigating as needed. May just take some time to get used to (only been 1 month)

It's Bluetooth connection works but is intermittent and incredibly frustrating to use. This resulted in me hurling the cheaply built product across my lounge and unsurprisingly fracturing into multiple parts. A colossal waste of money. Awful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing Keyboard I purchased this keyboard about a month ago(ironically, to replace a previous Dell keyboard), hoping that it would work better than its predecessor. It's far worse. Mouse:It sucks up battery power. I have to turn it off an on again, just to get it to work. Otherwise, it sticks. A lot. Keyboard:Most of the time, I have to constantly recapitalize words. Many words miss letters and numbers, despite my typing them numerous times. I will never purchase another Dell keyboard.

Neither the keyboard nor the mouse would function consistently. I would be typing and all of a sudden the key strokes would stop registering all together or just intermittently. The mouse often froze in the same manner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is nearly a perfect keyboard I shopped around for keyboards forever. It is imperative to me that keyboards posses a functional context menu key, have amazing key feel, an easy to use number pad, and importantly, Function keys (F1-F12) that perform first as function keys. Logitech? Lacks context menu keys. They employ Fn keys instead. HP? Has function keys, but many of their keyboards require Fn to be pressed to activate the Fn buttons! Not very useful when trying to move through a spreadsheet. Dell? Fn keys enable action buttons! They have a context menu key! The feel of the board is really, really good. And there are dedicated play/pause/skip/volume buttons. Dell is the winner, all around. The one concern is that the keyboard connection seems to be (at times) lacking. It's like interference or something is causing the board to react a bit slower. So, if you're a gamer this might not be a good one for you. I've only tried the board using the wireless dongle so far, so I don't have a comparison to provide to the bt connection. This combo also comes with a fancy mouse. This mouse has great hand feel, great click feel, and a nice, solid wheel. Additionally, the the arched device is flanked with fwd and bkwd buttons that make navigation through a web browser or Windows Explorer a breeze. One suggestion here is that the fwd button is located on the opposite side of the mouse from the bkwd button. This enables ambidexterity, but is awkward to try to press with one's pinky finger. I'd imagine this is especially frustrating if you happen to be a lefty, always having to click the bkwd button with your pinky. All in all: Well done, Dell.

This was the closest to what I previously had. The keyboard is as I had remembered but I don't know why they replaced the mouse with this cheap plastic, although perhaps ergonomically better, mouse. Keep the board, toss the mouse.

Haven’t had any issues with this Dell mouse. Also really like the sleek and modern design. Only wish was that you could control the angle of the keyboard. Would recommend without hesitation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic wireless keyboard and mouse I have never had much luck with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Usually they are finicky and don't respond well. I was hoping this one would be different and it sure is. This Dell wireless keyboard and mouse is the best set I have owned. It was so incredibly quick to set up. The batteries needed are included so everything is ready to go out of the box. After plugging in the included USB wireless receiver they were both ready to go instantly. My computer recognized them with no issues at all. The keyboard is so slim and sleek. It looks beautiful and works amazingly well. The keys are super quite so I don't hear that annoying key clanking like I did with my previous keyboards. The mouse is probably the most comfortable mouse I have used. I love the curve. It makes it feel natural to be using. My hand cramps with others and this one, so far, I have not had that issue. It is so responsive. That actually took some getting used to. Apparently my other ones were so bad compared to this one. It moves with the slightest touch and I wasn't used to that. It didn't take long to get the hang of it. Both the keyboard and mouse go into sleep mode when not in use to save battery life. I love that. They "wake up" very quickly. I have not had any lag time. The moment I move the mouse or start typing on the keyboard they are out of sleep mode. I have zero complaints about this set. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality wireless keyboard and mouse.

That being said, I keep it in my back pack for work trips, where it is great for using on the plane, where space is a premium. I have had not connectivity issues. I use the adapter with XPS15

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Great keyboard, bought directly from Dell. Some changes I would make: somewhere to store the USB dongle - somewhere under the keys where the switch is or to the side. The power button takes some getting used to on the keyboard. I'd have made it where the Dell logo is. Keep the logo on the power button. The mouse takes some getting used to, but the flexibity overall is great. I use it with the dongle on one desktop, with bluetooth on the other and still have one bluetooth option available. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Keyboard, Unusable Mouse First and foremost, the keyboard is amazing. Easy to type on, nice response when pressing the keys, and top notch build quality. Unfortunately the wireless mouse is unusable for me. It doesn't quite respond properly, lagging and skipping very frequently. I've tried all of the troubleshooting options, used both the Bluetooth and included receiver, and nothing can make it work. I've tried it on multiple devices (including a Dell all-in-one and my new XPS 15) and keep getting the same results. When a $10 offbrand wireless mouse works better than this "premium" product something isn't right. If the mouse worked as flawlessly as the keyboard I would highly recommend this product as it'd be the best wireless keyboard and mouse combo I've ever used. Unfortunately the frustrating mouse ruins that for me and I really regret making this purchase. If you're in the market for a wireless keyboard, definitely get this keyboard. Avoid this mouse!

I have been using this one for about a week now and I don't have that feeling about this one! I have strong feeling this one will last a lot longer. Now about the design. It is very very slick looking! The keys are just slightly raised up and the mouse has a really cool design to it - very different compared to what other mice I have see look like. My computer picked this set up very fast too which is nice - others it seems to take a few minutes to get everything working good. So all in all this is a really nice set for sure!

It comes with a Mouse, USB adaptor, 2 AA batteries, 2 AAA batteries, and a Quick Start-Up Guide. The keyboard is easy to use with keys that protrude and are not completely flat. I like the way the mouse feels in my hand and it is quite and does not make “clicking” sounds like some of the wireless ones I have used. I have a home office and it gives my workspace a more modern and updated look.

The keyboard and mouse connect seamlessly via bluetooth. Both come ergonomically perfected. The keyboard having a raised back and has a long slim-lined design, for hours of comfortable typing. The mouse has a perfect arch, and buttons are located just right for smooth effortless use. This comes in a fantastic stylish dark gray color, and fits right in at your office! I highly recommend purchasing this Dell bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointing Nice looking keyboard and mouse with good ergonomic fit for both, but functionally both are very poor. The keyboard misses a lot of characters, or will all of the sudden spit out 10 of the same characters right in a row. The mouse sensor is easily obscured by dust it picks up from the desk such that the cursor jumps around the screen. Even with a clean sensor, and adjustment to sensitivity settings, it does not track smoothly, and sometimes just doesn't track at all. This is the first Dell product I would not recommend not buying. I will be ditching this setup and going back to Logitech for my keyboard and mouse entry devices.

I have my computer 30-40cm away from the mouse, but with the wireless receiver there is a lot of inconsistency and the connection seems to fail constantly. With Bluetooth the mouse works OK, but not great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality keyboard Pretty pleased with this keyboard. It's stylish and elegant, feels great to type with, very quiet. Seems well made, I wish the keys were illuminated though as I often find myself typing in the dark, not a deal breaker but would have been nice. Also, I'm not too crazy about the mouse at the moment, I am forever clicking the side buttons by accident, it's not a bad mouse it seems to work well and feels great in the hand but (for me it's going to take some getting used to as my previous mouse did not have the side buttons. Something else to note, while I've only had this keyboard for a couple days now, the keyboard and mouse have completely froze up on me on a couple different occasions and the only way I was able to fix it was to reboot. Overall, I really like the keyboard itself, the mouse will take some getting used to at least for me. Actually thinking about purchasing a 2nd KM717 for the wife.

Not only does it pair well with what I am using (windows 8), it is also so stylish and slender. It looks great at my work station and I have gotten complimented on it almost every day! It connects easily and comes with everything you need, even batteries! The keys are so soft and silky and press easily. The mouse is well designed and fits my hand comfortably and perfect. The pair does not take up a lot of space either because of the slim design. Since the keyboard and mouse are both wireless, moving it around is a simple task with no effort. I have not had any problems with it so far. If you are in need of a new keyboard, I definitely recommend this combo!

This is really annoying as sometimes I have to retype my password half a dozen of times or really slow down my typing. Wireless keyboards that are 5 times cheaper don't have this problem. * Rubber feet are stuck on the keyboard, and peel off quite easily.

The mouse is very comfortable to use and the keyboard is very easy to type on and I got used to it right away. There aren't a bunch of extra keys that you have to learn how to navigate and I feel like everything is spaced just right. I seem to be a loud typist and this keyboard I feel is quiet unlike others which is a big plus!

It has a great feature of having the ability t hook up 3 devices at once , which is pretty cool . Great advantage with that feature . I love how the keys protrude and not flat like I have used in the past make less typos. So smooth and easy to use . Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I love this wireless keyboard and mouse set. The keyboard is sturdy and can be used anywhere. Just plug and go. The same goes for the mouse. The computer installs its drivers and it is ready to work in no time. comfortable on the wrists and I use a mouse pad under the mouse. I just like it that way but it's not required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Very easy to use/set up. Works great, comfortable to use. Makes typing easy-doesn’t cause any arm/wrist discomfort. Mouse is very responsive. Looks nice on desk/in office. Would definitely purchase another set.

Love the way the mouse just glides so easily and also love the chicklet buttons on the keyboard. Very fun to type and navigate with the mouse. I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing features The Kyboard is not clunky or heavy by any means. It works flawlessly. Had a few hiccups connecting it to the blue tooth but eventually got it figured out. Now the Mouse! That is the prize point in this set up . Ther ergonomics that they used to make it comfortable and easy to use.

She took them and absolutely loves them! Guess I'll be buying more sooner than I thought! But that's ok, we love Dell! So we've been recommending to all our family and friends!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard is great, mouse is ehh.. I purchased this KM717 wireless Keyboard/Mouse set about a week ago and so far I am very impressed with it. First impression out of the box both devices are very light, so much they almost feel cheap. I really like the look and feel of the keyboard. Once it's actually set down on a surface it losses that cheap feeling, stays in place very well and feels very usable. The metal surface on it make it feel really clean. I don't care for the shape of the mouse, like another user mentioned because it's arched there are no sides where I would normally grab it, maybe I've just been holding mice wrong this whole time, I don't know... I've gotten over this some but it's still a little awkward feeling. The mouse still feels sort of cheap to me. Functionally both have performed flawlessly for me. I use them primarily on an XPS 13 9343 and also dell laptop from work. I'm very impressed with how well they switch back and forth between devices when trying to multitask between two different machines. They seem switch almost instantly with very little interruption. I have only used them over bluetooth to this point but have not experienced any of the lagging/response issues that others have reported. Very happy with these for now, minus possibly the oddly shaped mouse that I'm still adjusting to. Again, have only owned them for a week so we'll have to see how they hold up over time.

The Keyboard is so Sleek and Slim its like your typing on air all button and action buttons are so smooth its as if the Keyboard and you are one ! the Mouse also so smooth and sleek nice control over pointer on screen ,these are by far the best I have owned Thank you Dell

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best wireless combo i've ever purchased Not much to say when it comes to a mouse and a keyboard, i've owned this combo for 4 months and have never had to worry about the battery (i'll go weeks without powering down the device. Connection is great and keys feel great.

The receiver does not work in my USB C docking station so It took up a valuable USB 2.0 slot. Although it is pretty to look at, it isn’t functional. I went back to my Logitech solution.

Not only do they look sleek and make my setup look awesome, but they work great. I love that they are wireless, so I don't have to deal with a bunch of bulky cords and I can easily move the keyboard and mouse around to another location. I am very happy with the Dell brand and these items in particular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I have a dell laptop that I use for work but I hated using the small keyboard area on it. So I was very excited about getting this! Getting the keyboard and mouse set up was very easy. All I needed to do was add the battery that is provided for both in the products and then plug the USB piece in the computer. The quick start guide was easy to follow, however, I did not need it for set up. I absolutely love how comfortable it is to use the wireless keyboard! Its the same size as a regular computer keyboard but has a very sleek thin design and the keys feel smooth when you push down on it. the keyboard is angled slightly so that it isn't laying flat which adds comfort. The mouse has a nice curve so it provides extra support when using it. The mouse moves effortlessly and quickly on the screen. My previous one was not as quick. Both of the keyboard and mouse have on and off switches for battery conservation. At first, I had a hard time telling if the keyboard and mouse were on by looking at it. When you turn the key board on there is a light that comes on the number lock key and that light stays on until you turn the keyboard off. The mouse is a little more difficult to identify- the off/on switch is on the bottom of the mouse and the area right by the scroll button a light does come on but for a brief time. Which is ok, but it would be nice to have a light on to identify if its on or not, other than turning it over to look at the bottom of it. I like to transport my keyboard and mouse in the packaging that it came in which may not be ideal for some people. I definitely recommend this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in Bluetooth mode, unusable using included receiver. Works amazing as a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Feel of the keyboard is great, the mouse is average. However, using the Dell Universal Pairing receiver the range is atrocious to the point of unusable. Wheres I get around 6-7 feet from Bluetooth, I am getting 3-4 inches using the included receiver. Yep, I said inches. I actually have 2 sets of the bundle and they both do the same thing. There appears to be some kind of defect with the dell receiver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard Stopped Working Purchased this product late June 2017; 5 months later having issues with the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard will stop working intermittently -- which causes the characters not to appear when typed. So, I'm having to turn the keyboard off and on again in order to continue typing. Same issue with the mouse -having to turn the mouse off and on again in order for the mouse to work. Although, the with the mouse started soon after purchase. Overall I really liked the design and feel. I gave a poor rating due to the issue with the keyboard since it was a fairly new product.
