1440VA/940W/120V Battery Backup for PC Networks, Security Systems or Digital Signage
This OmniVS line-interactive UPS system provides reliable battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, surges and line noise that can damage your valuable electronics or destroy data. The OMNIVS1500XL is ideal protection for your home office, media center or commerce components, including gaming PCs, routers, printers, HDTVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, ATMs, security systems, small business phone systems and digital signage equipment.
Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages
The field-replaceable, hot-swappable battery module allows you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Extra runtime is available by connecting one optional extended battery module (BP24V15RT2U, sold separately).
NEMA 5-15R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components
Six 5-15R outlets provide battery backup, surge protection and voltage regulation for your computer, monitor and other crucial components. The other two 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for printers, speakers and other desktop equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Corrects Low- and High-Voltage Conditions
AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts and overvoltages. The OMNIVS1500XL maintains regulated 120V nominal output during brownouts and overvoltages from 89V to 145V while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.
Premium Protection from EMI/RFI Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
This UPS system filters out disruptive electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that can inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.
ENERGY STAR-Certified to Help You Save Money and Protect the Environment
By meeting strict U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requirements, this ENERGY STAR 2.0 UPS system provides high operational efficiency to signal a reduction in BTU emissions, save on utility and cooling costs and help protect the environment.
Home-Friendly Silent Alarm and Touchscreen LCD Keep You Informed 24/7
The UPS remains silent in both line and battery backup modes. The alarm sounds only to report low battery, battery replace, overload and fault condition. The touchscreen LCD offers five screens of UPS and site power information when the UPS is operating in either on-line or battery power mode. It displays vital voltage, frequency, load and battery data, as well as critical fault status.
Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns
RS-232 and USB ports connect to a computer running Tripp Lite's free downloadable PowerAlert software to enable safe unattended file saves and system shutdown in case of a prolonged power failure. Cables are included.
Compact Housing Compatible with Easy Desktop Installation
The space-saving ABS tower fits on a desktop, shelf or any other flat surface convenient to your workstation or home theater. The power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug connects to any compatible AC outlet. A built-in fan regulates the internal temperature to help prevent overheating.

Rated 5 out of 5 byShubunkin from Excelent price and performance...!!!One of the best no break over all that i have and manage. Simply to use, very robust and his AVR regulates from high to low volatages in a wide range. I use to power and protect a SMB rack that combines 1 microtower server + 1 x 24 ports PoE swich and 1 x cable modem in a telco rack. Simply works great...!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 byMCShults from So far, so good.I have an office full of TrippLite UPS units we put in 3 years ago; and they've done their jobs when we've had brownouts, blackouts, and/or "blips" in our AC supply. I've had a couple units fail on me after 3 years; and had rather hoped for longer life; however on the positive side, I was able to get both units back on-line quickly and inexpensively, by replacing the non-proprietary batteries with economical off-the-shelf replacements. If the rest of the units give me four years, I'll consider that gravy. Overall, I would say that TrippLite gives a good value, and provides good equipment, for the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 bycathyc from This is a reliable workhorseI have been purchasing Tripp lite UPS units for about 15 years and I would be hard pressed to say anything bad about their products or their support for that matter. They have made a loyal customer with me. this particular unit has been working flawlessly for about 5 years or more. We also have 4 other various older units in our office. Thank you Tripp Lite!

Rated 5 out of 5 byDave in Ohio from Very Dissapointed - do not buyI bought this UPS to replace a several year old ups protecting a small office file server in a quiet office. After a few months of use, noticed a clicking sound coming from the ups - like a fan starting to go bad. Sound was irritating the office staff. I called tech support - the first tech insisted the problem was with our AC power. Had to go get a multimeter to prove to the tech that our AC power was at proper voltage. Then additional troubleshooting (disconnect battery with difficult to access connectors, reset, and reconnect). Finally talked to another tech who agreed to swap out under warranty. Plugged in replacement (refurb?) unit and immediately hear much louder clicking noise. I'll be calling tech support again tomorrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJulez from Over 5 years old nowI've had my OMNIVS1500XL for over 5 years now. I have two desktops, a router, modem and a monitor all on battery power. I don't need a long duration for it as we have a home generator as well. But this thing just keeps on trucking. I'm writing this review as I had to look up the battery replacement number for the UPS as I've yet to replace the battery and have been meaning to for the past year, just in case. Conditions it stays in are just a home office, but we average a good 7-10 brief 1-2 minute power outages a year easy. The only negatives I can come up with is that the beeping when it switches over to battery is loud (wish there was a way to just mute it as I couldn't care less to know when it switches to battery). And then the fan can kick in and be relatively noisy, but nothing that's unbearable like some have stated. Also TrippLite support is always awesome.
