Rated 5 out of 5 byDanner from You can't go wrong buying high quality. This is basic, old school good construction, the kind of thing that went out the door for most manufacurers a long time ago. All heavy duty, from the metal enclosure, to the sockets which hold plugs firmly in place, to the power cord, & etc. You can't go wrong with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 byvinnytherat from Exactly what was required! This was required to use a NordicTrac Treadmill:Use only a surge suppressor that is UL 1449 listed as a transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS). The surge suppressor must have a UL suppressed voltage rating of 400 volts or less and a minimum surge dissipation of 450 joules. The surge suppressor must also be electrically rated for 120 volts AC and 15 amps. There must be a monitoring light on the surge suppressor to indicate whether it is functioning properly. Failure to use a properly functioning surge suppressor could result in damage to the control system of the treadmill and serious injury to users. Couldn't go wrong - Thanks
