Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! ...for the handful of months before it dies Bought this product from Best Buy in September. Huge improvement over my previous projector. Mainly used for gaming and it looked great! Without warning, the projector no longer turns on or indicates it has any power. All status lights off. Multiple cords, multiple outlets tested. Almost impressed with just how quickly it was able to go from perfect operations to dead. Spend your money elsewhere.

I have not received my screen yet so to ensure the projector was working properly I projected on my wall down stairs which is a brown pine wood panel. Let me tell you even with the imperfections in the wood the image was fantastic. No, it was not as good as it would be on a screen but I was able to watch Aqua Man with all its action and colors and was blown away by the projection of the movie by the Epson 2150. Before making my decision on the Epson 2150 I did my research on all brands and read all the reviews in all price points. Since this was going to be my first foray into projection I decided to stay below a $1000. Sure, some other brands had slightly better ratings but the Epson brand gets high ratings on quality, reliability, service and the lamp price. But as luck may have it Epson dropped the price $200 dollars on the 2150 making this projector an excellent value for a first time buyer of a projector like me. I have wanted a projector for sometime but have put it off for one reason are another. I am now hooked and I will definitely enjoy the Epson 2150 until I get the itch to upgrade which knowing myself it will not be long. Until then I will enjoy Movie Night in my Home Theater Room with a big bucket of buttered popcorn and the Epson 2150.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamp failure error after 5 days I only had the projector for 5 days and had a lamp failure error. After a call with tech support they are going to send me a new lamp, which should arrive in 2-5 days. Pretty disappointing that they couldn't at least overnight a lamp to me. Hopefully the new lamp fixes the issue and it works flawlessly after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Projector, Great Picture Bought the 2150 Projector on Black Friday 2018. Picture is great compared to the older project that it replaced. Setup was easy, focus, screen size is all adjusted manually. Would give 5 stars but occasionally blinks out (screen goes black) for a few seconds then comes back when playing xbox one, Was hoping to find a firmware update. Project is really good for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best picture in 3d I bought this in December and I love it .got my ps4 connected to it and I watch 3d blueray with glasses I bought and picture quality is incredible.i had issue with lamp and called epson and they send me a new lamp and I received it in 2 days and projector been working great.i love it picture quality is great sometimes I think I'm watching 4k and it's a 1080 p .i recommend this projector to anyone.i love playing my ps4 games on it no lag.wonderful projector from epson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, Sharp, Color Saturated, Wireless and Affordable Pros: This projector seems brighter than the rated lumens and color is almost oversaturated for graphics. Viewing in ECO mode is perfect for most applications. I am projecting wirelessly from a MS Surface Pro 3 with no image stutter or delay in either video or high res stills and no loss of quality. The wireless feature allows for moving around the room with my device during a talk without encumbrance. Distance from Surface to the Epson 2150 was about 25', no issues. Projected into a Grey Wolf (92" Wide) screen and a 9' (108") white paper backdrop with equal image clarity and quality. Invested in this for my business, but have watched a few movies and love it! May need to get a second one for my media room to replace my old projector. Quiet running fan stops immediately after shut down. Has a versatile zoom range allowing you to project (horizontal measurement) from 68" to 109" at 13', without refocusing. Cons: Limited connectivity. I know that I am not the only "Old School" (RCA, S-Video in-out) out there, so it would be nice to have other input options for older equipment. The internal speaker, as in most projectors, is not meant to give a sound experience equal to the viewing experience. I connected my streaming device directly to the projector and ran an audio cable from the projectors "audio out" to my surround system for full theater sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best D@mn Projector I had an Epson 2030 projector for the last 4 years. Not one issue, not one complaint. Only bought 2 bulbs... One for Christmas and one just because we use it all the time as our primary source of TV, Netflix, Fortnite, UFC, movies and more viewing platform. Decided to upgrade and MAN what an Upgrade!!! The 2150 has blown me away!!! Beyond happy. 154 inches of cream colored walls POPS into the most amazing picture. HD quality TV viewing at a tiny fraction of the price. Watched Tiger win The Masters and the pictures were absolutely stunning. Almost too bright in Normal mode. We have plenty of ambient light leaking in, and it is not a problem at all. Stunning amazing supremely happy

I bought this because it had outstanding reviews. however, great sound is a big thing for me and upon setup I go to plug in my speakers and the sound is still coming out of the epson built in speaker. so I slightly shifted the input for my speakers and then I could get sound but only from the right speaker. for something as pricey as this it'd be nice if epson installed a good audio out port (super inexpensive). the built in speaker is not fun to watch movies on. The image quality though is indeed amazing. I recommend using a receiver with this product even if your audio out works it probably won't for long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Projector from an excellent company! I've been very impressed with this projector! For me it hit the sweet spot in price/performance. I've seen a few complaints about bulb failures and I myself experienced a bit of flickering with my bulb. Epson support is really top notch - I've never been on hold long and the people I've talked to have been empowered by their management to do whatever is needed to solve my issue. Right now the flickering seems to have stopped so only time will tell, but I'm very comfortable knowing they answer the phone and are willing to send out a replacement projector if needed. There are lots of other reasons this projector is great - the image quality is wonderful- it's as good as everyone says it is! Black levels are interesting, I know there are better blacks on higher end models like the 4000 and 5040,but those models are 2-3x the price of this one! Overall a great projector for watching TV, playing video games, etc. To be clear this is not "the perfect projector at any price" it is a product at an affordable price point and I am VERY happy with the tradeoff decisions the design engineers did to bring this product to market at the price they did. Image quality is excellent. Lens flexibility is excellent at this price point. Black levels are acceptable at this price point. Color, clarity and brightness are excellent, it's hard to imagine they could be better. Fan noise is a bit loud, but acceptable given the price point. I do wish the fan was quieter. Might be the only negative. On eco mode it's not bad, but on Full brightness, you definitely hear the fan.

This projector is the first one I have Owen although I have used two others that were DLP 3000 plus lumens this LCD is brighter and sharper. I have the projector ceiling mounted in my basement I can have all the lights on and still see the image crisps and clear. It has a great zoom also you can Lynn shift so you can really place this projector just about anywhere. If I could I would give it more than five stars great product from a great company.

It is like driving an old junker for years and being satisfied then finally breaking down and getting a new ride and having that WOW feeling. I have only one bad thing though bit on the noisy side and generates fair amount of heat needs room to breath.I love it just the same really great picture.

My last projector lasted me about 6 years with never replacing a bulb or anything. So it disappointed me but the image was great while it lasted.

I can't even begin to express how over the top we are about this projector and to the level of enjoyment we have experienced with it in terms of "movie nights"! My wife and I are recent empty nesters and with the home theater system I have put together in conjunction with this projector, we may never attend a movie theater ever again. We even purchased a real popcorn popper to add the finishing touch. Thank you Epson! The clarity of the picture, 8 feet wide, is phenomenal!! It is so fun! Our children may try to move back home now and for the price of a movie ticket to get in our "theater" I might consider allowing it. My granddaughter gets first dibs, of course. :-)

This new one turns on but can't connect to HDMI. Tried the system with other monitors to determine its my Epson and not any other component. Such a waste. I highly don't recommend this.

I was happy to find it has an audio out jack so I can complete the theatre experience with great sound as well! Loaded the app on my iPhone and seems to work great! Horizontal and vertical settings for the projected image are difficult to manage. Annoying lag in transmitting audio through bluetooth speaker. Unable to connect streaming device to stereo speakers.

The Epson 2150 was easy to install and has such Ana amazing picture. Our family room has a 90” screen on the wall and from a distance of 13’ it hangs from our universal ceiling mount and the screen adjusts perfectly. The picture is crisp even on the largest zoom and it’s so easy to use. Fan is quiet, turns off right away without needing to cool down forever. I am in love with this new projector and may never watch a regular tv again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality Video Upgraded my projector last month from another manufacturer DLP model which I had for about 7 years and the difference is astounding. Price was comparable to others, setup was simple (love the WiFi option) - but what sets this product apart from all others I have used is the colors, blackness and how close the video quality is to LED TVs. Plus the 2 year warranty says that Epson stands behind its products. Will update after 6 months of use but for now I am happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Contrast Ratio I've installed many EPSON projectors. The more natural colors make them better, but the limited contrast ratio has always been a drawback. Somehow, they've fixed that with the 2150. The blacks are BLACK. Best ever by far.
