With the ability to scan, restore and archive an extensive range of films and prints at fast speeds, Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner has low power consumption for maximum efficiency and no warm-up time for instant scanning. With 6400dpi optical resolution and 3.4DMAX optical density for film scanning, the Epson Perfection V600 Photo creates high-quality images, meeting the photo and film reproduction needs of photographers.

The Epson Perfection V600 Photo features a built-in Transparency Unit (TPU) that supports full panoramic medium format film. Users have the ability to create digital archives from photos, filmstrips, mounted slides and medium format full panoramic film, making it ideal for preserving important memories and images, as well as photographic reproduction for printing.

Energy Star compliant, Epson's innovative ReadyScan LED technology minimizes power consumption. With the added benefit of no warm-up time, scanning can start as soon as the power is turned on and the scanning of reflective targets is 1.5 times faster than previous models.

Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner is rated4.36 out of5 by913.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scanner and easy to useI have had it for a month and love it. It is simple to use but it is far from a basic scanner. It has corrective features for my old 35 mm slides which I did not think I needed. The preview scan allows for Backlight and Color correction with ease. Many of my photos could use both. After scanning the Auto Enhance feature, auto Rotation, andmore are simple to see the Before and After to let you choose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ExceptionI love this as a scanner for documents and used once as negative scanner for old negatives. Now when I go back I can't get it to work - have spent an hour trying to get it done but is not working...FRUSTRATING!!! Recommend except for scanning negatives - and can only do one or two each time...very slow process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing SpecialI bought a month ago. Loved that it could scan up to 4 photos at a time and put in separate files. Unfortunately, that function only lasted a day. Spent a good amount of time on customer service. They didn’t fix the issue - response was this is the best we can do which is actually nothing. So I don’t think anything special. Disappointing...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Speedy, great quality scanningIt works fast and creates excellent scans of photos. The only thing I don't like is that the Epson Scan software doesn't allow selecting 48-bit color in the home mode. This means you have to select the professional mode and do one photo at a time. Though with scanning negatives you can do 48-bit color and it automatically gets all of the photos you have in the negatives on the flatbed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turn 35mm Slides into Detailed PhotosI've long wanted to convert dad's 35mm slides, into photos I could share. I've tried other methods, like camera attachments, with poor results. Finally, I have photos that I'm proud to share.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable and easy to useI bought an Epson V600 scanner last winter to digitize slides and prints. So far I've scanned about 2,000 slides and I've had no problems at all. The scanner offers several settings to vary the quality and size of the scans. It came with photo-editing software that enables me to improve the final images. Overall, I've had no problems with the machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scanner, BUTHave the V600 about 3 weeks now and it is a superb scanner if you only scan 35mm film strips or 35mm mounted slides. The 120 / 220 film holder is badly designed and useless for mounted slides. The scanner also does not scan 4x5 sheet film. Would not recommend for scanning 120/220 mounted slides or 4x5 film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good little scanner for the priceI needed a new scanner with higher resolution. I wish this scanner could scan 4x5 film, but it only goes to about 2 1/4 inches wide. The main scanner bed works well. I mis-read the specs and thought it would scan 8 1/2 x 14 inches, but it does not (my fault not the scanner's). It looks so long that you might think it would but it doesn't. Anyway, all-in-all, I like it and I'm glad I purchased it.
