Epson WorkForce WF-2830 - multifunction printer - color is rated4.90 out of5 by20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PrinterWorks well! Set up was fast and easy! You can easily connect to multiple computers and devices. I love being able to print directly from my smartphone. The prints are high quality. The main things I print are coupons, shipping labels and handwriting sheets for my daughter. I also like how it’s not as big as an average workforce printer. This printer takes up less space and is more compact! My only dislike with this printer is the display screen. It was difficult to type on the touchscreen with it being so tiny. Other than that I love it! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AmazzingggAll in all, the Epson WF-2830 is, like its name implies, a true workforce. Great print quality, high print speed, and it easily handle large volume printing, and copying without any hang ups. This printer is a godsend in replacing my cheap Canon printer that bit the dust after less than a couple of months of heavy use. I use my printer primarily on a MacOS, in conjunction with my entire Apple environment.+ ProsEase of Setup - Out of the box, the printer was SOOO easy to setup. I pulled it out of the box, set it up in its spot, followed the setup sheet, and was up and running in less than 10 minutes. The one thing that took a little bit to get used to was the character input for the wireless network key. The back and forth across the row of characters on the screen was a bit irksome, and the beeping every time I hit a character quickly sent me through the settings to look for the silent mode. The silent mode was easy to locate, and once the beeps were gone for every character input, the setup was a LOT less taxing.Print Speed - This printer handles large print jobs easily and effortlessly. I can send a large print job out to it, let it do its thing, go grab a cup of coffee and a snack from the kitchen, and its ready to go when I return. The paper feed easily handles large amounts of paper, and the double sided printing is a paper saving feature that takes no configuration other than a settings toggle!Scan Quality - Scanning photos and documents is not only easy, but the various settings options allows you to scan in various qualities depending on what you’re using it for. A quick low quality scan takes seconds, and a high quality photo scan takes about twice as long, which is by no means slow at all!Air Print - this is the feature that has been make or break it in the past with other printers. Some require a separate app download to print from your mobile devices, some don’t mesh well with the Apple environment setup, and some just don’t print from mobile devices, period. After setting up the printer on my wireless network, it was available to use seamlessly from all of my mobile devices. Simply pull up the document/photo to print, hit send to printer, and bam, the Epson WF-2830 populates right into the drop down menu and quickly accepts and executes the print job FLAWLESSLY.-ConsThe printer does tend to use large amounts of black ink fairly quickly, however I ran several VERY LARGE print jobs through the printer numerous times, and have yet to replace any of the ink cartridges, the black ink level just tends to stay quite a bit lower than the other cartridges. One very small feature that irked me, was the location of the power cord on the back of the device. I would almost prefer the location of it to be central, or in a dream world, relocatable to either side of the printer. It was on the opposite side in relation to my desk setup. Is this a VERY minor annoyance? Yes. Enough to make me dock points or consider another printer? Absolutely NOT. Unused FeaturesUnfortunately, I was unable to test the Fax feature of the all-in-one because I haven’t had a landline in my home in YEARS. I feel that the Fax option is a rapidly dying breed, being replaced by much more efficient, high quality digital options, however it’s always a bonus to have it available in case it’s needed. All in all, the Epson WF-2830 rescued me from printer LIMBO after I opted for a cheap Canon printer on a budget crunch. This printer is a dream to setup and use, and I look forward to utilizing it over what I hope to be the next several years!“This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printerI reallybliked this printer. The setup of the printer was pretty easy especially connecting it the wifi. I love that I can just use my phone to print off of and not have to start my computer. The ink cartridges are easy to load into the printer and the LCD screen on the front makes it easy to make your selection. The scanner makes great and I am able to quickly scan and copy papers. The fax machine works great but is a feature I dont use alot. The print quality is great and my pictures printed out bright and vivid. Any printed pages I had printed out nicely. The ink doesnt smear and prints out super fast. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home office printerI am blown away by the quality of this compact all in one printer! I work from home most of the weeks and I needed a printer that I could rely on for all sorts of printing and scanning and the Epson Workforce WF-2830 has filled that spot very well for me. I loved that I could easily set up the device right on the screen of the printer and get it on my wifi, once it was on my wifi all my airprint devices worked no problem, and my laptops and desktops were able to easily find the printer and scanner. Beyond the setup and basic usage, I like that I can scan and copy without the use of a PC and phone/tablet. Scanning seems very very good and I have scanned documents and printed them out and held them side by side with originals and had difficulty telling the difference. In summation I would suggest this printer to anyone looking for a solid performer, easy to use and has that great Epson brand behind it. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Home Office PrinterI would like to start the review with the Unboxing. The Product unboxing was a piece of cake. Did not take even a minute to get the Printer and it's cables out of the box. I was impressed at the way everything was neatly arranged and no frustration when trying to remove the printer out from the box as is the case with most of them. Next of, the Setup of the Printer. Each and every step of the setup process was clearly displayed on the screen. I was impressed by the way the UI was so smooth and was responsive. It took me about 5-10 mins to complete the whole setup and do the cartridges calibration and paper tray setup. The Wireless Printing is smooth with the Epson Print Enabler App. Although, I feel the connectivity over Wi-Fi is not as seamless as compared to the ET2700 one I have at home. But overall, it does the job perfectly. But I really like the Voice Activated Printing feature. In the Smart Home generation, this is a must-have feature.Coming to the Copier and Scanner, no complaints there. Easy to understand and easy to use.Overall, I feel this All-In-One Printer has a great potential for Home-Office Users and can do great things. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great FeaturesI love this printer. I use it in my home office. It was fairly easy to set up. It prints from my phone and tablets perfectly fine. This printer has been perfect. I'm able to print multiple pages, fax and scan without any issues at all. I've only had this printer for a few weeks but I've got to say that I am impressed. I really needed a printer for envelopes and always used a different brand but I was going through those printers every 6 months it seemed. This printer prints so much faster. Overall, I am very happy with the Epson Workforce 2830 printer. If you want a fast printer with an utterly friendly user interface, and other bells and whistles then this one may be for you. As I said before I been using it for over a few weeks now, and I have no complaints, only praise. The user interface is logical and I figured it out without a user manual but maybe slightly challenging for others. I am definitely not a whizz-kid but I have been through other printers. It features are fast speeds, plus easy wireless connectivity for printing from tablets and smartphones, it delivers professional-quality documents runs out, easily print, copy, scan and fax. And, offers hands-free voice-activated functionality ensures easy printing, on command. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant, affordable,TONS of features - Even Siri and Alexa!I was pleasantly surprised at how elegant and compact this all in one Epson Printer was right out of the box. Despite its compact size, it is loaded with features including automatic 2 sided printing, wireless and NFC printing capabilities and my favorite feature of all – VOICE ACTIVATED Printing! Whether you have Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant, you will be able to ask any of them to print your documents, recipes, shopping lists and various other things! This has been my favorite feature and I’m sure it will be yours as well! Now let’s get to brass tacks! Setup was a breeze. I was up and running in about 3 minutes! Just install the software from the included CD OR download the software from the Epson website on Step 6 of the included “Start Here” pamphlet. About a month with this printer and I can say that print quality is excellent, the ink lasts quite a long time, and the 30 page ADF is a real time saver when you’re copying large # of documents or scanning them into your computer/smartphone. All in all, this printer provides a great bang for your buck as it is elegant looking and loaded with some features that you’d have to pay much more for with other brands! When it comes to printers, Epson really knows what it’s doing! This is a review for the WorkForce WF-2830 All in One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Printing on Multiple ProjectsI have been using my Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer for about a month now. There have been many good features that have come with this printer: Very easy to hook up to my HP windows laptop. I was able to use the CD provided to install all the drivers, etc. It took a little bit more time to hook up to my wireless internet, but all in all, that was pretty easy to do, as well. The digital information screen is awesome. The WF-2830 prints at a higher than expected speed, even when using color or printing double sided. The photo resolutions look good enough to frame (my daughter and I had a couple of pictures that we wanted to print). I used this printer to the max, since I am getting married Labor Day Weekend. It did a great job printing out my invitations, RSVP Cards, and address labels. Everyone has been complimenting how professional they looked. Boy was it a surprise to hear that I did created them at home.Cons: At times, this is a very noisy printer. I can loudly hear all the gears, etc moving inside. As much as the WF-2830 is a time saver on the speed that it prints, while printing on non 8.5 x 11 paper, the printer would not either recognize that I had a smaller or I would be promoted over & over to check where the paper was placed in the printer. Also, on non 8.5x11 paper, there were a lot of paper jams with how the paper would feed into the machine in the back. I have still not figured out how to print from my phone. I have tried a couple of times, but seem to always have issues. I even went on-line to get other directions, but have not figured it out. Maybe in the next month I will be able to. I used the printer so much, that I ran out of black ink. Epson did not even have it in stock. I had to search all over the internet to find the ink. Finally, Walmart had 2 cartridges. Yay, too bad I was not able to have it shipped. I had to drive to a near by town to pick it up. I see that as of today, Epson does have the black ink back in stock. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2830 All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up, and works greatI got the WF 2830 to test it was very easy to set up right out the box. I quickly got it connected to my wifi and was able to print out my email sheet so I could send stuff to my printer from my email. I then hooked it up to my PC using a USB cable and updated all the firmware and scanned in a few documents to my computer. Over all I would say that this printer is great for a beginner it was easy to set up and use. It works great when hooked up to the wifi or using a USB cable. My photos scanned beautifully without any issues straight to my computer, and set up was a breeze. I would highly recommend this printer.
