I ordered this through my printers app it's not compatible with my printer so need to return it. They sent me a label to PRINT which I can't without ink and refuse to send me a label to return. I'm getting a new printer and getting rid of HP altogether because of how annoying this entire exchange has been.

Easier to order when I need, not when HP knows how many sheets I used and when I need more ink. Don't do that. If you use the subscription service, and you run out of ink, then buy it yourself, they cut off your printing power. That is TOO much in my personal business. Creepy, too. And then they don't tell you how to get your printer running again.

Because it is only one color, this XL cartridge goes a long way. I believe it claims to print 1200 pages, I do think that is an exaggeration. But I find I do not have to change it as frequently as I have to change the tricolor XL cartridge.

I deeply regret buying an HP printer, and these proprietary cartridges only add to the frustration. The printer forces you to use HP cartridges, meaning you can't save money with third-party alternatives. If you try, the printer outright refuses to work.
On top of that, the printer requires yet another app just to perform basic functions like printing or checking ink levels. I’m already drowning in apps for every device I own—why do I need an HP app for something so simple?
And don't even get me started on the relentless subscription push for HP Instant Ink. It’s like every time I blink, there’s a pop-up or email reminding me to subscribe. No, I don't want a subscription! I want to buy ink when I need it, not be locked into another monthly payment.
This feels like a classic case of corporate greed—locking customers into an ecosystem where they’re forced to pay more for convenience they didn’t ask for. Never again.
If you're considering an HP printer, think twice. There are better options out there that don’t treat you like a walking ATM.

Difficult to contact
I was using HP to supply my ink. When I tried to find a contact to talk to someone, I could not locate any way. The ink level on my colored cartridge displayed as adequate. There is no red. I was unable to resolve my issue, so I canceled my subscription. I ordered 2 cartridges but am now told I can not use them.

Lousy experience with setup. Too complicated. I tried and couldn't get it, and two other people tried and couldn't. Today a Granddaughter stopped by from college and she got it. Then I messed up the black ink.
I scraped some of the readers off. So I'll have to buy a black cartridge. I wouldn't want to buy this printer again, just because of the complicated set up.

The first cartridge I bought, upon installation would not adjust print quality. I bought a replacement cartridge and print was fine. In the meanwhile, I was frauded by a usurper (AskTech) at the hp website, where I had gone for technical help. hp's website lacks measures to avoid such frauds.

The black ink cartridge that I order through HP works great with our HP Envy Pro 6455 printer. This is a printer for personal use and we have no need to do large print jobs. But the quality of the ink is very good and exceeds our expectations. Ordering through Hp is easy, delivery is on time and the print quality as stated above is good. Cartridge is easy to change out and a return envelope is provided to return empty original HP ink cartridges.

Operating the printer via iPhone and iPad.
The printer does a good job producing sharp images. Operating it via computer or iPad is not so simple. I do better operating it hands on……on site. Appreciate the chat feature but it’s another bothersome detour to accomplishing my job. I’m not a computer guru so this printer may not have been the best choice for me. Computer smart people would not be challenged so it would be great for them.

Caused a malfunction
When I inserted this new cartridge into the printer it caused it to malfunction. I didn’t even know what the error message was until I looked it up and it said it was due to the cartridge. I even took the printer home to my dad to see if he could fix it and he couldn’t. I had to buy a new cartridge from a different store and when I did that the printer worked just fine. It was exact same type of cartridge so I know I got the right one the first time. I don’t print that often so by the time I discovered the faulty one it was too late to return it. Kinda sucks because it makes it feel like it was my fault, but the online store sent me the bum cartridge in the first place. Oh well.

New HP 67XL Black Cartridge Apparently Defective.
Installed new HP67XL Black. It would not print black, even though it showed as being full. Reinstalled same problem. Replaced the new HP67XL Black cartridge with a remanufactured cartridge purchased from another source and the remanufactured cartridge worked fine. Apparently the new HP67 XL Black cartridge was defective.

I'm so happy with the quality of prints, the ease of working with this copier / scanner. Everything is easy with the bluetooth. Can't say enough good things about this printer.
I print close to 50 sheets per day possibly more. Each one is as good as the first until I run low on ink as with any printer.

I ordered multiple cartridges for a large print job and these worked great!! They install easily with no mess and produced the number of text only pages estimated in the description. Delivery was fast, but a prepaid recycling envelope was only provided when I ordered 4 cartridges.

High Yield is a stretch. This printer model is probably a hit IF you can access Instant Ink. Without that service, these tanks run out laughably quickly. The ink is fine. Easily installed.

Ink level not the same in all cartridges
I have placed 2 orders for 67XL color and black ink cartridges, since I bought my new envy 6052e and have had problems with ink from both orders. They do not have consistent ink amounts. One cartridge will print 223 copies, and the next one printed only 50!! The third cartridge wouldn't work because it said that it was unsuitable for my copier. Either you are labeling regular sizes as XL, or you are shorting the containers, but either way, there isn't nearly the ink that I expected. I do not print any photos and when there is colored text or diagrams with lots of black, I note it in my page count.. I am very dissatisfied with both the quality of these latest cartridges and the envy printer and would warn others to stay clear of them as they produce copies that are very expensive for a printer that is supposed to be an "economy" model.

very low capacity
in an effort to push your subscription program, you've lowered the amount of ink in a cartridge. When I can't print more than 50 pages with an XL cartridge, we have a problem.
I do not have consistent usage so a subscription program is not for me. I'm using up the ink I have and will consider just buying a new printer - not worth the low performance.

I bought this at the beginning of the year, because of the high yield claim. Installed it, then realized why it's high yield. Because the ink prints sparingly. Pages look faded & washed out, like a wet watercolor painting. I've tried everything to get pages to print bolder & nothing. Maybe I got partially dried cartridges, I don't know. Whatever the case, I'm out $55 (I bought the 2pk).

While I do like my ENVY printer I am very disappointed in the ink cartridges. I seldom use the printer and discovered an almost new black cartridge dried out and I was forced to purchase a new one. They are far too expensive to replace after almost no use. Do better HP.

After purchasing a printer, I allowed myself to be talked into purchasing a extra black cartridge under the reasoning that black ink usage is heavier,(generally), than color. I really didn't need this as my printer needs are low, (less than 50 pages/month). Still, it's nice to have JUST IN CASE.

Won’t waste my time with the off brand products anymore. The quality is it for me with Hp! I also choose to purchase direct because I have had the least number of issues with purchase/ delivery. Unless there’s a crazy sale somewhere, I am shopping here. Only thing that might make it better is a recycle program to ship empty cartridges to, receiving a discount in return on my next purchase.

After some confusion when I ordered a printer that is no longer available, HP delivered a great printer and Ink as ordered. I was planning to order a more expensive printer, but HP convinced that this printer was perfect for my limited home use.

Was not able to get this from any of my usual suppliers. Attempt to force me into ink subscription, which is not appropriate for me or my business. Moreover it only fits a printer that is really a lousy product and difficult to install easily. All 130 pages of manual do not explain how to print from printer surface without going through cumbersome experience.

worst HP cartridge - much less yield than promised
The product info claims that each cartridge is good for 240 pages, but in my experience (having gone through 3 or 4 of them), it's probably 100 at most, maybe 75. I would strongly advise against buy a printer that requires this ink cartridge - we had an older HP printer for many years that used a different cartridge, and we were replacing it maybe three time a year. This one lasts a month under our standard use. Also, you might notice that it is frequently out of stock, which makes me think this is a systemic problem - they can't make them fast enough to keep up with normal printer usage by their customers.

I bought both black XL and tri-color XL. The black is great! The color was problematic and after 1/2 hour on the phone with tech support, it ws deemed defective. I was then transferred to customer service to get a replacement. all in all an inconvenience and in the meantime while waiting for a replacement, I can't print anything. A bit inconvenient when you live in a rural area with few other resources. I will rate the performance based on prior cartridges.

Ink depletes quickly
The cartridges purchase dwere XL versions and I don't think they come close to estimate of 200 plus copies. I don't know how to see how many copies my printer has made but I am only a casual printer and in two months since printer purchase I am on my second set of XL cartridges. Delivery took ten days so I was out ink for a week. The upside as the print quality was excellent.

Short on ink
Disappointed in HP making the wiantity of ink half of what it used to be in ilder cartridges. Example the Ho 60 and Hp 64 have 200 pages for nornal cartridge and 600 for the XL cartridge. This new HP 67 in black only has 100 pages fir a normal cartridge and only 200 for HP 67 XL cartridge. Works well nut comeon double the price in a sneeky way shpuld not be happening.

I've had this 3 months and still haven't discovered how to throw a photo in, copy it to a file and save the file to my pc without logging into my HP account (why do I have to have an account to operate a piece of hardware I own) and messing around with the "cloud". My $50 Cannon that lasted 10 years did everything I needed once the Solution Menu was loaded.

I purchased the HP 67xl ink cartridge directly from HP. Says it will give you 240 pages. I got 80 and it was out of ink. Can never find cartridges, and even HP is always out of stock. Very disappointed. I love my printer but it's useless without ink. Poor product.

I don’t like this printer.
The HP Envy Pro has a ridiculously low page yield. If you need to print lots of paper (at least 50-100 pages in 1 day), then you’d better purchase a different printer. You’ll spend more money on new ink cartridges than what you’ve spent on the printer itself.
This isn’t a printer to buy if, say, you need to print out flyers for a business. Much better options out there.

The external dimenisions of the supplied cartridge which prints 30 pages is the same size of the cartridge of that prints 220 pages. HP creates massive customer dissatisfaction by cheating its customers of 20 cents of ink.

After my original HP printer finally failed! Went to a local store to check-out a suitable printer and found they only had 4 in stock. 2 of the same model which would meet my needs and 2 leaning towards the type used in offices. Selected the less expensive HP unit but they were out of stock of replacement cartridges for it. Found them at HP supply at a similar price to the store. I ordered what I needed and will use them when the supply that came with the printer runs out. I like the fact that I will be able to recycle the empty units at no cost to me. Better then tossing them in a landfill.

HP ink is very good. No complaints. My problem is that a) it is so expensive, even if you buy the large cartridges. Two sets of two large cartridges and you are getting close to the cost of another printer! And, (b) if you are going to electronically force us into using only your fine cartridges--which you do--you have, in my view, a moral obligation to keep all sizes of all cartridges available for purchase at all times. Recently you had none of the tri-color cartridges I needed, and none of the large black ones. It was 12 days before I got my needed black cartridge. I bought the tri-color one at Staples.

I called the company and asked about it and they verified that it never shipped from the warehouse and all they that they would cancel the order and place another order for the same thing. I never got the second order either. I called the company again and they said that they couldn't fulfill the second order until the first order was returned. I NEVER GOT THE FIRST ORDER, so how can I return it in the first place, furthermore, had I gotten the first order, i never would have called to see where it was!

I went on the site under what HP printer I have bought. And I thought it would only bring up the ink I need for my printer. But somehow I got an ink sent to me that was completely wrong. I opened it and put in my printer before I realized this was the wrong cartridge for my HP printer so I can't send it back so make sure you have your cartridge in front of you and they match up to what's in there or you will waste your money like I did and then had to turn around a buy ink again.

Not that it matters to whomever reads this, I've been buying a lot of this ink recently and it doesn't last. The last one lasted under 5 days and printed approximately 72 pages using black and color. The ink cartridge is empty.

I have had only HP printers and always use the official authentic HP cartridges. I prefer the XL. The Instant Ink is not right for me but I do not want to discourage anyone who likes it. Just do the calculation.. The XL prints 800 pages for the black ink according to what I read. And, I could do 800 pages in one month or 300 one month and none the next etc without limits that you should pay attention to for the monthly Instant Ink. I get excellent quality from the XL and my husband uses the laser and is very pleased with that. Youican also get good support from anyone at HP which is a benefit.

Prints wet, runs out fast
When I print a regular page with text, I have to be careful not to touch it, since the ink goes on so heavily, so wetly, that it smudges on even the slightest contact. If I print an image or mostly black page, the paper practically feels damp.
And so of course it seems like I'm always shelling out for a new one soon after the last purchase, even though I switched to using an office printer for more of my work, to maximize the longevity of my home printing setup.

What is most important in routine printing?
I have used the HP site to maintain my cartridge supply for decades through different HP printers and through different locations. I have always found this as the best most efficient and most convenient way to print things. I buy my paper by the case. I buy my ink in large quantities also. I have NEVER been disappointed in this routine. Speed and accuracy is most important.

Ink is nice but there's not enough of it...
I think the ink quality is great and it dries pretty fast so you can touch the paper as soon as it comes out and ink won't smear. However, I think that the ~240 page capacity is very misleading because it seems as though my cartridge levels are down to around 60% after printing 40 pages.

I have the HP Deskjet #4100 series Printer. The first one I purchased lasted about 7 months before it stopped working. Fortunately I had purchased the insurance so the unit was replaced. I have now had this unit about a year and it suits my home needs. I am very frustrated that I have received threatening memos from HP concerning a replacement ink cartridges as I had purchased a non HP less expensive version.

My printer communicated to my computer that I needed a new cartridge, but it communicated the incorrect cartridge, so I spent money on something that was completely useless. I would expect the machine to accurately know what ink it needs, and therefore, it should be much easier to have success in this

You will NOT get 240 pages out of these cartridges -- not even CLOSE!
I've been printing books for a band project. Ran off about 100 pages (with XL cartridge) and had to replace. Replaced with XL cartridge which produced semi-splotchy printout for no more than 100 pages, and had to replace, again. Printed probably 75 more pages, again splotchy. Just went to print and I've got low ink warning, again. *Supposed* to get "up to 240 pages". I continue to be less than impressed with HP. #MissMyLexmark

I wrote to your customer service dept. to get reimbursed; still waiting for a final disposition. have old cartridge & 2 new full cartridges ready to return, just need proper address. otherwise they can will get shipped in your recycle bag. very disappointed the new ones arrived unusable: HP printer didn't recognize either one.

I'm a big fan of HP printers! I bought a different model for home and so far it works great. But this one was for work and every time you want to print, you have to unplug it and then plug it back in. I'm confident that it will be taken care of and I'm still a fan.

I bought it in June. It works ok, but it is loud when it prints. It uses too much ink. It wants to do the alignment very often. I can work with it ok, but I was hoping it works smoother with less maintenance.

The place where the ink is inserted is quite small for my big hand , the black ink goes in easy , but the colored ink is another story , worked for an hour the second night I had it an just couldn’t get it in . Took it back to Walmart but they said I had it one day past the day for returning it . Said I SCHOULD CONTACT YOU.

• Print quality: Crisp and dark black text, exactly what I needed for both documents and photos.

These cartridges pack a lot of ink and provide for very high quality prints, color or black & white. Locally purchased HP cartridges have far less printing life than the ones sent through Instant Ink. Of course, it is the excellent quality of the HP printers that makes this all true.

This is NOT the first time I've had trouble with the "Made in Malaysia" ones! I could NOT get an Agent to speak to me. Spent about 2+ hours trying to get through to an American speaking Agent! I would seriously like a NEW #67 black cartridge to replace the defective one!

I purchased this product brand new to print full page-sized color photos and the colored ink was only enough for two pages. In summary, it ended up costing me around $8 per picture just to print at home. Waste of money and time.

I printed 20 pages of b&w 8.5x11" pages and the black cartridge has already run out of ink; it comes nowhere close to what is advertised. I am seriously regretting purchasing the HP Deskjet 2755e that uses these ink cartridges. Highly uneconomical.

The amount of ink appeared to be very scant. I was able to get it (both cartridges ) to go a little further after I thought it to be out, by shaking it after letting it sit for a short time in warm water - a trick learned recently on you tube. I think I have prematurely replaced MANY cartridges through the years, before I was aware of this You tube advice that taught me about ink cartridge clogs. In addition to poor ink-value (I think) , the printer the ink is for, this time, is not nearly as performance equipped nor user-friendly as the others have been. (It was very inexpensive but not at all worth the vast amounts of frustration it has caused). Wish I had purchased one like I had before, however, ink was still the same - costly and scant. I suspect "instant ink" is the way to go, but the plans didn't seem to fit my needs, which weren't quite that regular.

Bought ink for the piece of junk hp envy 6052. Ink will run out in less than 10 photos but that will actually outlast this hunk of plastic printer. Won't feed any kind of paper since the day I blew $80 on it. Throwing in the trash and bought a Cannon printer.

I'm pretty disgusted with the HP cartridges for this printer. They dry out extremely fast if you don't print every day, and capacity is very limited in black and white. I find it hard to believe that will all the printer and ink technology available, HP can't find a way to create long lasting cartridges. But of course why would they? Wasteful cartridges are their bread and butter. Oil companies get a lot of bad press for what they do to pollute the environment but printer companies should be held accountable as well. I had much better performance with my Canon printer. These are large cartridges that seem to hold very little ink.

in an effort to push your subscription program, you've lowered the amount of ink in a cartridge. When I can't print more than 50 pages from a cartridge, we have a problem.
I do not have consistent usage so a subscription program is not for me. I'm using up the ink I have and will consider just buying a new printer - not worth the low performance.

I purchased this product from HP and initially I was pleased with the quality of the print until after five or six pages the quality was slowly declining. I reset the diagnostic program to clean and realign the printer but the quality never improved and the ink level was low after so few copies. Hopefully this is not what we expect from a reputable manufacturer/supplier.

Printer won’t work due to password change on WiFi. Hp won’t accept password I set up for my printer. Can’t talk to service for help. Will never buy another hp product.

Took way to long to receive.
Ink cartridges are fine, but ... I'm so used to Amazon's delivery schedules, the fact that it took what seemed to be nearly a week to arrive was unacceptable. Printer was unusable while awaiting new ink.

Impossible to set up. Had to talk with HP initially and then everytime I did something like change an ink cartridge, it shut down. Also I signed up for free ink for six months and an extra year on the warrante and never heard whether I got it or not. Not at all happy with the printer or the ink set up or with HP!!!!!

When it works, it really works!
There isn't a lot say. It's an ink cartridge that fits a lot of different printers. It makes lovely prints when it is working. I have to wrestle with the printer settings to stop it from guzzling color ink on black and white documents, and that is by HP's design. They call it "High Quality Greyscale" and it's quite a gimmick. These cartridges usually stop working in my house long before they register as empty anyway and no amount of print head cleaning solves the problem. We don't do a lot of printing, and I have heard many theories about why this happens, but I don't know for sure.
I would love to pay more for a product that doesn't stop working a year after I install it, but I don't think printer manufacturers are interested in that as much as they are in guaranteeing regularly returning customers.
My next purchase will not be an HP genuine ink cartridge. I will roll the dice on the aftermarket.

I never received it, unable to print due to having instant ink in my printer and unsubscribed to it as I do not print very often, just when I needed it I was unable to use it. Very disappointed in HP at this time. Buyer beware if you have an instant ink cartridge in printer and cancel subscription, you can not print

Printer stopped accepting aftermarket cartridges after a sw install to allow printing from my phone so there was little option other than purchase ink from HP. The output from the black cart smeared. It was later discovered to have spewed ink inside of the printer. The brand new color cart showed up at ~75% of full volume. I'll be donating or recycling the printer when the ink is gone. I'm done with HP & their poor quality, over priced, proprietary nonsense

Buyer beware
I bought some ink off of Amazon that was packaged and sold as HP product but was counterfeit product. The packaging was just like the HP product but the cartridges would not work so I purchased new ones directly from HP and they work perfectly. Buyer beware I’m out $50 for counterfeit product.

Piece of Garbage!
Horrible printer. All I want to do is print or scan, and it makes me sign in each time, and go through a series of screens. I just changed the ink, calibrated it (that was also a p in the a to do), and now it prints some of the copy, screws up the pictures, and prints the type intermittently. ALL I want is a !@@#$%^^^* PRINTER!!!!!!

Worst cartridge performance
Cartridge only lasted for less than 50 pages. The worse performance I have ever experienced. I assumed that buying the original cartridge from the manufacturer will provide a much better result.

Only printed about 15-20 pages in black. Its pretty much useless. Just go to your local library instead 15C a page normally which is so much cheaper than anything HP will every put out!

Checked several other websites for price. Most had "remanufactured" at same price as the original HP, so went to HP website and found best price. Glad I did, as I trust the HP name and quality. Like the "combo" pack too--saves $.

Literally terrible.
Terrible. Printed 10 color pages, 3 of which are unusable, only 7 came out properly. And guess what? “Color toner is low”. 7 color pages?? Advertised as ~100 color pages….At $30 for ink, that’s an expensive dud of a toner.
