A note continues to appear on the screen. telling me to load Photo Paper, 4X6 in the tray. I was desiganting to print 8.5 X 11 on my Mac screen. I tried over and over. Same message. I am going nuts. B. Every time the message comes up, it is followed by a message stating "HP recommends Color ok papers. Why do you sell "Everyday photo paper" to me if that's the case? C.Worst of all, when I print from my Mac photo library photos, the color is not at all true. It always was when I printed from my Brother. And I bought this printer because it is a Photo Envy, supposedly for photographs!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serves a purpose This paper is designed to be a "throw away" print or casual print out. Pictures will lack some detail and color of that printed on gloss premium paper. Even for casual use, it doesn't handle being cut well. The edge will frey off the top layer of the image at the cut. The premium paper doesn't do this. However, prints do look much better, more like developed photgraphs, than printing on plain white paper. HP's star ratings are worth paying attention to. Last, it is disapponting that HPs support site doesn't recognize this products ID. I had to go to the products page to find it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from disappointing Because HP forces its products on customers and/or discontinues services such as Photo Creations (which was originally forced on me) without any warning so I lost years of my work, I was given a $25 coupon as compensation. But the only thing it would buy was photo paper and I had to spend over $25 to be able to place an order. Thus I ended up with something that was NOT properly described, i.e., "sprocket" photo paper. It is entirely useless to me but I am not going to pay the postage to return!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i only use hp products i was so excited to find this paper at such a good price for so many sheets.. truthfully i did not know anything about photo paper , so i had a few worrysome moments with this every day paper.. i ,so far, had only used the photo paper that was free from hp.. this is more lightweight and did not want to feed into printer.. then i read paper choices and chose "everyday" instead of premium and then it went fine. pic. are nice quality, clear vibrant colors.. {not as good as premium glossy, but good enough for like its say..everyday printing... value is good 100 sheets for 10 bucks.

The quality of photos printed with this paper are very good. When I need higher photo quality for more important jobs, I use HP Advance or Premium Plus photo paper.

Such photos are very time sensitive so I like to get 4x6 prints out ASAP i.e within a day or so. Using this paper with my HP Photosmart D7260 printer produces really high quality pictures that everyone loves to see. They usually gain a lot of value over time and this paper really lasts.

Wife is an artist and has been using color prints of her art for advertising purposes. She want to get rid of this ENVY and see if we can find a better printer. Would not recommend the ENVY for the photos but the print seems good.

The printer arrived, but the photo paper did not and it was appearing that I was being charged for the photo paper. So I entered a case seeking a refund against my account. Instead, they sent me the photo paper with no charge. There was no notification that the case was resolved, except I had to dig for details to find out it was being resolved by HP sending me a package of photo paper.

The aftermarket paper I was using was not feeding well and I blamed the printer. It dawned on me that the thickness of the paper might be the issue so i switched to HP paper in my HP printer and I now get great printed photos without any problem. A simple fix for a simple problem and the paper was no more expensive then before.
