I use it for home and my small home business and since I didn’t pay a lot, I’m very happy. In the past, all my HP inkjet printers have surpassed my expectations and HP ‘s too. Lasted longer than expected and performed up to expectations. I recommend this for home use.

It's small, very connectable, and you are walked through the setup process. The touch screen is a little difficult to use through setup as it is small but seems to do fine for normal operation. Document print quality is what I expected so I am excited to see what else this printer can do.

I've turned off the"pause" and it still DOES NOT PRINT! So far, I have had a bunch problems. I had problems setting it up couple weeks ago. It worked okay for a while, no problems. But today, NO PRINTING! I don't believe I have done anything different. Although I have checked the "I agree to terms..." box, I do NOT agree until this printer is working correctly!

At the time, I was unaware how school would become cancelled for the remainder of the school year due to the COVID 19 pandemic, but having this printer has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for the sake of learning and entertainment for my kids. This printer is great and prints with great quality. It’s so easy to set up and use. I can print things from my phone and my computer, and because I’m home with my kids all day, they’re always asking me to print stuff off for them to do whether it’s assignments from their teachers or color sheets to prevent boredom. You get so much for your money. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth already in the few weeks I’ve had my printer, and I’m looking forward to continuing to use it.

This printer has really come in handy especially with the mobile printing feature. I no longer have to email images/files from my apps to my email and go to a computer that has connection to my printer in order to print. I can just directly print from my phone. It saves me a lot of time. Also, the setup was very easy. The step by step instructions really helped. I can also place the printer anywhere in my home without having to have a hard cable line connected to my computer.

Prints perfect pictures from my Samsung galaxy phone and my Kiindle Fire HD tablet. It's so very quick and easy to use. If I have a question, the staff is so friendly and helpful, without charging a fee, and I can understand them which is a big plus! I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone looking for a high quality product that is easy to set up and use, and creates great pictures and copies!!

I am pleased at the resiliency of the HP all-in-one printers and was pleasantly surprised this model offers the option of printing on both sides of the paper. The one *delta* I have: the scan option on the inboard screen doesn't work unless the scan object is on the platen. It doesn't automatically recognize when there is paper loaded into the upper feeder. I have played with the on-screen options, but haven't yet found how to correct this issue.

It took minutes to setup and connect to my LAN. I was printing documents in a few more minutes. I replaced an HP OfficeJet 4500 all in one with the OfficeJet 5255 and performance and print quality our like comparing rubber band motors to jet engines. I bought a second one for my grandson who is college bound and he had one word when I demoed what it could do WOW.

So I purchased the 5255 for that reason. I however do not have the feature to make calendars anymore and I need to manually swing the arm out to catch the printed papers. I often print from my phone and am usually in a different room. So when I print and go to get me papers they are all over the floor.

To my surprise, the setup, including getting wifi access, was easy, the print quality (I use mostly Black Draft Quality) is superior to my old one, and it offers two-sided printing, something I didn't automatically have before. The only clunky part of this whole experience was inserting the ink cartridges. The instructions seemed easy, but, for some reason, it took a bit of juggling for the cartridges to fall into place. This might have been me. Will see when I have to replace them.

The instructions weren`t worded so it took a few minutes to figure out how to get the ink cartridge properly input. Once the print cartridge was added, printing was a flash. I like the fact that it can be paired with my phone to instantly print pictures and documents. HP is a great brand and this product should be revered as one of its greater quality products. Lightweight and well designed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a great printing experience. Again, what took me by surprise was how simple setup was.

Upon bringing the printer home and taking it out of the box I immediately noticed that there was no physical assembly required on my part which I thought was great. All I had to do was take the protective tape and film off of the major parts. Instructions in the box were very precise and easy to follow. I was required to plug the printer into an outlet and download the HP smart application on my smartphone. After downloading the application I was instructed to follow the steps outlined in the app on how to set up the printer. This printer was amazingly easy to setup and install!! I LOVE IT!!! The app is very user friendly and there was no way that I could have messed up the installation. This printer connected to my wi-fi seamlessly and in no time I was ready to print my first document. The clarity and quality of images and documents that I have printed from this printer is great. All printing is done wirelessly which means theres no need to connect any usb cords to the printer before printing, and I am able to print documents directly from my cell phone. Pages print quickly and it also prints on both sides of the page without me having to flip the paper like I have had to do in the past. The scanning function on the printer is just as easy to use and I love that I can scan a document and it will be automatically sent to my laptop as a PDF document or I can also choose to have it open up my email and automatically attach the document to a message. This printer is really lightweight yet it functions as an all around piece of office equipment.

IF I was going to get it repaired I did not have the time...because of my w/e responsibilities. So I purchased this printer on line, because they could deliver before the w/e. Getting it connected was a bit of a problem..had to deal with HP and Wifi company. All in all both of them were fantastic and I was up and running by Friday and the w/e. Thank you HP printer is working just fine.

The printer does not come with an installation CD, but the driver can be downloaded on HP`s website. Simply type the website in your phone or computer and you will directly be led to the page for downloading the printer app . It did not take me long to get everything settled though (around 15 minutes) The video make the installation really easy . Its printing quality is okay. I gave 4 stars because I just got it for a day and still haven`t tried its scanner and wireless printing function. So far, I am happy with the product!!!

The more I used it, the more I understood why they did that. Not only is it easy to install and operate, you can also use your phone to print from it. What I really like about this printer is the easy approach to it. I am not very technologically advanced, and this printer allows me to use it without any issues. The quality of the printing is very clear, without any smudges. The quality of the scanner is superb. The copies come out clear. What I hated about my old printer/scanner is that the quality of the scan and/or print was either misaligned, crooked or not clear. This printer eliminates this problem. I am super happy that HP came out with this printer that any person can use.

One of the features i enjoy is that i can connect my phone and bring articles without having to transfer to a PDF file. While unpacking the product i did find it easy to connect and install, i had trouble tho connecting it to the internet. When i downloaded the app, it was also hard to understand how to benefit from other special fetures, like keeping up with the toner or downloading files that i already had in my phone to the app to then print. I did like that it was easy to load paper and the color cartilage. It was heavier than it looks tho, so i had to look for a steady place in fear it could fall. Compare to others product, i like the ability to connect to my phone without having an actual labtop or computer. The quality of the print out was exelent, the only thing was not able to adjust the print out size, from large to normal letter size. I do wish that it wasent that heavy in order to place in a more convenient place, like my room. Rather than living room, where is too big for my decoratively look i like to have. The length of how long it takes to print it is a little lengthy about 10 seconds for being a printer would expect less time, 5 seconds or so, but compare to other products is about thr same.

I prefer installing from a DVD which is quicker and options can be selected before unnecessary and/or unwanted files are copied.Print quality is good but rather slow, especially photo printing.All colors contained in one cartridge is impractical and results in additional user expense to the user. It's time that HP joined the crowd and used individual color cartridges in their printers.The scanner and scan software are excellent. The best feature of the printer.In my opinion this printer is best suited for use as a backup.

I was told my printer was past it’s life, so they gave me two Space replacement options I made it very easy within a couple days I was back up and running. My needs are for personal use with a windows 10 desktop pc in my home. Being electronically challenged I reached out to a HP support person who assisted me in setting up this printer. He was GREAT. He understood that I wasn't interested in some of the features this printer is capable of, was patient and kind and took his time getting me going. I am now enjoying the printer. It looks great, and because it is new has awesome display, control panel, interior paper holder so looks cleaner as well. Prints great, easy to install. The problem I have had with it is that I set it up to be wireless, as it required one less physical connection and if we wanted can print stuff from phones of tablets in house. For some reason if not in use for a while the printer will show that it is still logged into our internet, but the computer can no longer find it. The only way to fix this was to take the printer off the internet, then log it back on. This is getting very tiring every evening while printing out our daughters homework. Enough so that I just re installed the printer with the hard wire to the computer. Honestly don't think we will print much from other sources, but would have been a nice option. I have an iMac, and don't know whether that is the issue, online it seems many have run into this problem, the step through fixes haven't fixed it yet.Everything else is fantastic.

It's fast, especially for an inkjet (I'm used to toner). It's also pretty quiet. I have it in my bedroom for now, and it has a sleep mode so the light isn't on screen all night. Nice little feature!

I spent 21/2 hours on the phone troubleshooting with customer support the first night. I spent over 2 hours with a support engineer the second night getting it to work. No product should require this level of engineering support for a simple install. Once it was installed properly on my network it seems to work fine. Only time will tell.

Those will enjoy our quickly specially if you’re printing photos. I write a journal with jpegs and the jpegs are clear and crisp. The unit is quiet and fast. I haven' used the copier or scanner yet, but I had another HP product and those functions were easy and quick. I previously had the "HP Support Assistant" app on my computers so set up was a snap, fast and required very little interference from me.

I can't believe I can easily print off my phone, home desktop, and laptop to print off. I will be upstair where I am beat and tired and I think oh no I forget to print something but then I forget. Oh, I can print off my phone while in bed and I click print and hear my machine downstairs doing its work then wake up in the morning and do task. I haven't tried on the go outside and printing. I hope it works while I am on the go outside. the only reason 4 star is because its confusing and still haven't figured out how to scan a paper to my email.

I bought the HPOJ 5255 to replace that old printer it took me a few minutes to figure out the logistics to make everything work but no big deal. All my devices work just fine with the new printer.

So far the Office Jet 5255 has worked very well, except for occasional jams in the ADF while feeding paper in. There are no delays in connecting to the internet, which is a great relief.

The blue tooth reaches out all over and I am able to print signs and documents without the help of my desk computer , or I can turn the blue tooth on the desk computer and print what I need. I really like the app and the ink program , through the app HP can monitor ink and paper usage and replinish ink as needed. I hope they add paper to it unless they already have that . The set up was easy and I was printing within less than 20 minutes . I was also supprised with the design for the value and the scanner. What a deal !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works greatI bought this printer because I have a home daycare and it works really great! The only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5. NOT ENOUGH INK! I don't really use a lot of ink. Quite aggravated! HP doesn't offer this type of ink for their monthly supply plans.

The copy feature on the printer preforms high quality prints. I have printed over 700 pages and have been highly satisfied. I would recommend this product to a frinend.

I love my new HP Laptop and HP Printer. I connected with HP Smart Friends and they configured my new laptop and printer. Smartfriends are an excellent resources and they are very friendly.

Plus the customer e-service on line has 172 people ahead of me... so no thanks for the "constant ink"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use!!I bought this three weeks ago and absolutely love it. I had some issues with setting it up but it was my fault as I did it from my phone and not my computer. Kayla, the HP rep that I spoke with, helped me through the entire set up process (even though her shift was over 30 minutes prior). The printer is easy to use, prints in bright colors which is important as I am a speech pathologist and need vivid colors for my Autistic children. I love it!!!

I did a bit of research and this HP Officejet had everything we need - we have used this printer everyday now and couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended for at home / work use!

I appreciate the two sided printing feature as it save paper use and surprisingly the ink did not bleed through the paper (I use 24lb. paper). At this point I could not be happier.

Only kidding instead of 4 before. I have to figure out how to scan from the Printer panel. I may need to download something but otherwise all good.
