Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100 PACK NEEDED!!! I like the product. Have been using for several years now. HOWEVER my major complaint is that you don’t sell this product in a more convenient economical size such as a 100 pack (I also sometimes accidentally order the 25 pack in error).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paper Does Not Print as Sharp as Previous Paper This is the new HP Paper. I like that it is recyclable, but it does not print as sharp as the earlier version of the paper. I am not a professional photographer, so the slight decline in quality does not effect my work for pay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Photo paper I have been using HP sine 2011 with buying Laptops, printers and regular printer paper. I ordered my first 8.5 x 11 photo paper, not good for me. The one side I liked was the glossy side, but the other side had HP logos. I made three purchases and sent all three back. I was trying to get blank sheets on one side so I can make custom postcards and other types of cards. I did not need the HP symbol on the one side that I would use for Writing or putting other visuals. I did not want to see the lHP logo. Otherwise, HP is great and thank you with helping me get my money back with the three orders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product's performance has been lowered I have been using HP Premium Plus Photo Paper (usually glossy) for nearly 10 years for printing photography works for sell at galleries and shops, and up until this 300 g/m2 "instant dry" product was introduced the tonal quality and richness has been superb. HP has made a bad business decision to take the former off the market, as this replacement meets none of our standards for museum quality work. I will not recommend this product for this use, and will continue my search for a suitable replacement, and right now HP has no paper I will consider as suitable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP Premium Plus Photo Paper, 300g glossy This is a correction to my previous review relative to product descriptions. In the past I have always used the HP Premium Plus photo paper, glossy, in the 280 g/sq meter wt. Always excellent results. Great color and tonal quality, and sharpness. In placing a recent order on-line with HP Stores I found that I couldn't get this paper anymore. Apparently it has been replaced by a different HP Premium Plus photo paper in 300 g wt rather than the former 280 g. The results with this new Premium Plus glossy paper are definitely inferior to results with the former 280 g/sq meter HP Premium Plus glossy paper, in all performance aspects. Based on my experience with the new paper, I will not purchase any more of the Premium Plus glossy paper. I'm hoping that in the future HP can bring back the former HP Premium Plus in 280 g wt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worse Purchase Ever I scrapbook for 6 grandchildren and therefore use a LOT of photopaper. Up until recently I have been really happy with the pictures I had printed for their books. Then HP decided to change their premium photo paper and the pictures I now print are not as colorful and have a "hazy" look to them. I tried the "advanced" program and there really isn't that much difference. I called HP and was told in a "chat" that no change had been made to the paper, but that isn't true. The weight, feel and quality is VERY different. I have an HP photosmart D7360 printer and until I started using the black boxed photo paper was getting GREAT prints. I am truly sorry that HP felt it necessary to make changes in an already good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Quality This "new and improved" paper does not hold up to the old paper. The photos printed are poor in color and quality. Will look for a suitable replacement. Bad move HP to replace the old product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This new paper is below standard The old premium plus -High Gloss paper was superior in every way including weight and color was vibrant. I will need to go to another brand now. I have been buying HP ink and photo paper for last 15-20 years and their prices have gone up and the quality has gone down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELENT PAPER TO PRINT PHOHOGRAPHS......BUT In my old HPofficejet Pro 6000 Plus, one puts the Glossy side Up in the printer tray and it works fine. In my new HP Officejet Pro 8720 I have to put the Glossy side face down in the paper tray. I have to remove all the printer paper 1st then insert one piece face down, otherwise the glossy side will drag a piece of printer paper along with it and ruin the print. A very stupid design mistake by HP on the 8720. I still give the paper 5 stars as we're not reviewing printers here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Photo paper my money has purchased. I have purchased over 400 sheets of this HP Premium Glossy Photo Paper 8.5 x 11.0 inches. The results has been compared to any professional photo I have had made and well below the cost comparison. My HP4500 Officejet should also get some of the credit, because it takes two to tangle. !!! I have stoped purchasing other brands of photo paper. richard 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Poor Product The changes made to the HP Premium Plus Photo paper are just plain bad. The company took an excellent photograph print paper and reformulated it to a substandard product. Gone is the wonderful heavy weight of the former paper, gone is the wonderful "nubby' backing and gone is the wonderful print surface. All that is left is the price. The product does not perform but the price was not reduced. i returned my full order and I will not purchase this product again. Until the changes, I used this product alnmost daily for three years.

It's as bad as the Kodak paper they sell !!!! Only good I suppose for Amateurs. Not professionals who have come to rely on your original HP paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice color but may not compatible It is not compatible with the HP OfficeJet 4650 all-in-one printer as it labeled. It either jam, not load or only print part of the image. Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4x6 Premium Plus Photo Paper I have used this paper for years and have been very very pleased with the quality of my prints. I print all my photos at home which is between 700 to a 1000 each year. I have always liked the deep blacks and bright rich colors I got from the older Premium Plus paper. But the new improved paper is no better than the regular paper. When I first started using it, I could not believe my eyes and was upset that HP changed such a good product. It dries faster, but I would rather have the better looking prints that I got on the older paper. The blacks come out a more dark olive in many cases and the colors are no longer bright and rich looking. To test what I was seeing I printed some of the same pictures on the older and newer paper and there is a big difference. The new paper cannot compare to the older. I did not mind paying the extra cost for this paper because of the quality of my prints, but I will no longer buy this paper and since this is the best paper HP makes, I went out this week and bought a different brand printer and will try their best paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Disappointed! I have been using HP Premium Plus photo paper for years. I was so surprised and disappointed when I purchased a new supply. The quality is unacceptable. The blacks aren't as black, the colors are not as brilliant. The prints looked muddy. My daughter commented that some prints didn't look good and she wasn't even aware that the paper was different. I tried the suggestion to use the Advanced Photo Paper setting but it didn't help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Sure What All The Fuss Is About It could be that I have a newer printer; the HP Envy 110 411a printer when loaded with HP Premium Plus Photo Paper prints beautiful deep rich colors. These are the best photos I have printed out since I started using printers to print my digital images. I still use my HP 6310 Inkjet Printer to do prints as well, but I still use the old HP Photo paper on the 6310 which I still have quite a bit of left. When I compare the two, the new paper printouts look much better than my old 6310 ever printed out. I saw the message that HP put out regarding this paper and older printers below. I hope that works for the folks having problems with the new paper. All I can say is with the newer printer, this paper is 2nd to none!....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what my printer needs I like the thickness of the paper versus prints I had ordered online. I am very happy with the results. It is great being able to print my photos for my scrapbook, and have them immediately, instead of waiting days for them to arrive in the mail on thinner paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring back the old Premium Plus please! Please, please bring back the old Premium Plus paper! I don't care if it takes a little longer to dry than this new version. The new version scratches easily and the color of the snow in my photos went from white to green. Sorry to leave a bad review but I am not a fan of this paper. I have been making photo cards with the old version for years, I miss it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE COLOR!!! OLD PAPER BETTER I was in the middle of printing a job and ran out of the old paper. Bought the new Premium paper and had to take it back. Thank goodness I had the old paper to compare. STRIKING DIFFERENCE!! You'll think it's your printer, when really it is the paper. Even if you have nothing to compare it to, just know that your print can be soooo much better. Had to outsource the last few pics to finish. Bring back the old paper!!! You have lost me as a customer until you do! Where'd the auto sense detection go??!! My printer never missed a sheet with that on the back. DON"T BUY!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bring back our old Premium Plus Paper I do alot of photography locally and have an 8550 photo printer that is only 2 yrs old. I used the HP Premium plus paper with it and had fantastic prints. With the new paper, the quality is terrible compared to the old, and the paper will not feed thru the printer any more. It keeps saying to load more paper and I have to keep trying different amounts until eventually it pulls one thru. This morning it took me 4 hours to be able to print only 8 prints. I think we should be compensated for this. Obviously, you changed the thickness of the paper so that previous printers will no longer pick up the paper. Looks like I may have to convert to Epson and I hate it because the old paper was a linen type paper that was not only durable for years, but made a very professional looking print. Where was your quality control when you come up with this revision. DON"T BUY THIS PAPER.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Also disappointed Now I know I'm not loosing my mind. I also find this new paper unacceptable compared to previous formulations. I thought it was something I was doing wrong and I tried every setting combination my HP printer would allow. The quality is still poor. I pulled out a pack of old paper and it prints beautifully. HP, look at the comments on this site and how few people are recommending this paper any more and you might be convinced to reformulate. I am looking at switching to Epson. Such a shame as the old paper was great for me for years of printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fav photo paper! I recently ordered your 100-sheet pack of 4x6 Premium Plus Glossy Photo Paper. It consistently delivers great photo prints. Rated 5 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE I loved the old Premium Plus PHOTO paper. The new version is awful. The pictures look faded and out of focus. I printed the same photo on both papers just to make sure. If I can't find the older version of paper, I will buy a new printer. I am very disappointed with HP. If there is some way I can purchase the older version let me know. Otherwise I will be buying a new printer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product Does Not Feed Paper I have enjoyed using my older HP 325 printer for quite awhile. I just finished using my Hp Premium Glossy photo paper with tabs and now wished I had purchased at least 10 boxes!!! I now have tried the NEW premium plus paper and it will not feed through the printer. I assume it is because of the smoothness on the back of the paper. Needless to say I am very unhappy and feel like since the paper has been changed you want us to go purchase a new printer....UNHAPPY HERE!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very poor quality pictures Purchased a new 7525 all in one to replace a 8250. Had a very large supply of the old hp premium plus photo paper that printed great glossy pictures. Bought this new premium plus paper and it does not compare at all to the old photo paper. Not very glossy at all... took a chance and bought some 4X6 paper at Costco and it prints better at a much much lower price. Not very happy with the new hp photo paper at all. Won't buy hp photo paper until something is done. I have always used hp photo paper up until now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This paper is awful I thought my HP Photosmart printer was shot when I tried using your HP Premium Plus Photo paper. I've used the older version many times before and never had a problem. The paper will not feed through the printer and when it does, stops part way through the printing. I am glad I went on this sight and read other reviews of this product. I now know it is not my printer, but your awful, awful paper. Please go back to you old paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Printer does not appear to properly feed Just purchased this product (CR668A) from Office Max ... as I just ran out of my previous purchase of Product #Q5431A ... which was ostensibly the same product but with tabs. No mater what I do I can NOT print photos that don't cut off the top of the photo and leave a nearly 7/8" blank margin on the bottom (in portrait mode) ... it seems that the printer (HP Photosmart C5180) either has a hard time recognizing the size of the paper ... or more likely it isn't feeding in correctly due to the very slick backing on this paper ... the older (better) paper had a rough surface that allowed for sure feeding into this printer. NOTE: I did as the response from HP to earlier similar comments, tried to use the setting of HP Advanced Paper, in addition to a bunch of other types (in addition to the obvious setting of HP Premium Plus Photo Paper). Also tried printing with it set as if it had tabs ... but that didn't help either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Advanced Photo Paper - Doesn't Feed I purchased 4x6 HP advanced photo paper as I wasn't able to buy the "standard" 4x6 anymore. I thought my printer was malfunctioning...NOT. The "smoother" back side of the paper prevents the paper from being fed into the printer even AFTER cleaning the rollers with clean water and soft, lint free tissue. HP - go back to the "earlier" version of your print paper. At least the soft rubber rollers can get a GRIP on it and feed it through. Lots of my wasted time and money with your "newer" product. My printing now is done at a local store.....and results in the purchase of less ink from your company as well. Very disappointed with the Advanced Photo Paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome quality It is difficult to find 4 x 6 matte photo paper. While this is not matte, the soft-gloss is an acceptable alternative where glossy paper is inappropriate for the effect one is attempting to obtain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No longer worth the money. I've been a loyal user of Premium Plus paper for several years with outstanding results and great comments on the image quality from other photographers. Having run out of the 'old' style PP paper I purchased a good amount of the new and 'improved' PP paper and have had nothing but trouble with it - it won't feed properly into the printer (C5180) despite changing all the settings that HP recommend for pre 2012 HP printers along with cleaning rollers etc and when I have managed to get it to print a page the quality, depth and colour are slightly different when dry to the old PP paper and really a little disappointing. All other papers I use feed nicely through the printer. Using 5-6 sheets a time to get one print that feeds properly isn't on! Annoying because the printer and old style paper gave such faultless results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This paper is not premium at all I have been a long time user of hp premium plus photo paper with my HP photo series 7300 for many years. Always satisfied in the past until my recent prints. Will be returning this paper immediately. Prints look laughable in quality compared to prior product. Followed HP's recommendations and no improvement. Quality is FLAT, greenish, lacks depth on blacks and highlights ARE BORING. SO Disappointed. If they can't figure this out switching to all canon products. Printer, ink, paper. You guys ruined a perfectly outstanding product!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very poor quality paper You new Premium Plus glossy photo photo paper is very poor quality and not worth the money. I used to exclusively use your Premium Plus glossy photo paper for all of my photo prinrting needs. However, with the change to the new "non-premium" Premium Plus glossy paper I have switched to another brand of photo paper. I find that Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy is an excellent photo paper and gives the results that I used to get with your Premium Plus glossy photo paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If it wasn't broke . .why fix it? The new 300gm paper gives dark colors a greenish tint! Didn't anyone over there "test" the paper before making it? I would like to know what HP will do for its long time customers?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from jams and will not print I cannot get this premium plus photo paper to work with my hp psc 1315 printer. The premium works fine, but the premium plus jams and will not even allow the printer to pick it up. It's like it is too thick or something. This paper was more expensive and I don't know what I am going to do with it as I cannot get it to work with my printer. I went to your website to try to get some customer support and I get as far as "your printer is no longer under warranty" and that's it. Not Happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Response from HP is entirely unhelpful After reading the response from HP below, I attempted to print on the new paper as directed. The information must have been written with Windows users (drivers) in mind as they are all but useless for Macintosh users (drivers). The Mac driver from HP does not include "Advanced" in the selection for paper types. There is "HP Premium", "HP Premium Plus", "HP Photo" and "HP Everyday". So, which one is supposed to be "Advanced"? Also, putting the instruction notice here on the web, while nice, is almost useless as people won't know it's here. A note packaged with the paper itself, or on the box would be the appropriate thing to do. As I don't know the recommended settings, I can't rate the paper better or worse than average at this point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Photo Paper Ever I just love genuine HP products. The paper is so thick and glossy. I've bought cheap paper that actually, you can practically see it happening, starts fading way to quick. Not HP Premium Glossy, my pictures will probably outlast me. I just love the feel and the texture of it. You can definitely tell it's VERY high quality and just Premo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible paper My pictures came out terrible with this paper. I had setting correct and new ink installed. Pictures came out very washed out. In fact pictures came out great on plain white paper. This photo paper was a waste of money and a big disappointment. Maybe a bad batch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works photos come out printed well! It works well for photos that I have printed and I am very pleased with its quality. From my observation photos printed from using this HP Premium Plus Photo Paper, Glossy, are just as esteemed as photos, taken from a photography place/location. It meets my expectations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Problem I originally bought the less expensive HP photo paper and it was fine. Then upon reordering, I decided to get the Premier most expensive paper which was a mistake. Now when I opt to print a photo, I get 2/3 s of the photo on the Premier paper and 1/3 of the photo on regular copy paper. This has happened now several times and I am wasting ink. I will never order the Premier paper again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning results with HP Photosmart 7510 printer I think any problems other reviewers may have had with Premium Plus may be with HP's communication, not with the paper itself. When I bought my HP Photosmart 7510 printer almost a year ago, an HP representative told me it was calibrated for the new version of Premium Plus. At the time, I took that claim with a grain of salt. Only recently did I take the printer out of the box and start using it. I can report that my prints on the new Premium Plus Glossy have been nothing short of stunning. I've ordered some of the new Premium Plus Soft Gloss to see what results I obtain with that. To get the sharpest prints, with the most saturated and accurate colors, I find I have to set the printer's Preferences as follows: Media: "HP Premium Plus Photo Papers" and, under Advanced: Output Quality: "Maximum dpi" and Real Life Technologies (sharpness): "On." I learned this partly by trial and error, partly by finding and downloading the User Guide from the HP web site, and partly from links in the User Guide to HP Support. I only wish this information had been included in the printed brochure that came with the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible paper I spent extra on this paper thinking that it would be worth it to have good prints. It jammed repeatedly in my HP C6180, smearing photos and wasting huge amounts of ink. I thought the problem was with the old printer. Just tried with brand new HP8600 and the paper will not feed through the printer at all. The box says that this will work with all ink jet printers but it doesn't even work with HP printers. Save your money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glossy Paper I bought the glossy paper to use in the transfer of photos from my computer virtual world into the everyday physical world. The transfer of information looks great almost as if it were printed from an old 35mm type film.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very poor I do not know why this paper is called HP Premium Plus when it is clearly an inferior product. Colour quality is poor and it fades within 3 or 4 months unless kept in an album or envelope. I live many miles from major city and had to order it by the name 'HP Premium Plus' from my local dealer who supplied me with this product, not knowing that it was so inferior to the normal Premium Plus I have bought in the past.. I am unable to travel due to ill health and now sit with two almost full packs which I am unable to use. Total waste of money and ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Everyone loves to print out their own photos like I do. Buy some discounted photo paper at Wal-Mart or some other store. Streaks, smudges, and a lot of cursing. Purchased my HP Photo paper and HP inks in my HP 4630 series printer and Wala !!! Perfect copies every time. No mess, no fuss, and no cursing. My little Pooch Dash loves the results also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I even miss the old packaging. I fully comprehend that with the times comes changes. Those that refuse, die in the past. HP.... I get it. BUT WHY!!!!!! I went crazy stocking up on paper as I do ever four years or so, and regret it. For the first time I am contemplating other brands. Solution? I went on ebay and looked for people selling the older paper. Now I am super happy. Please HP, hear us. Just keep your new fancy boxes and give us our paper back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Plus I always buy online and get a discount for having an account set up. There is no shipping charge and it only takes 3 or 4 days to come. I use only HP ink because I have an HP printer and it always lets me know when the cartridge is almost empty. I'm not sure of the alternate brands but I am always sure I've gotten the best when I get HP.
