Increase productivity with automatic scanning. Rather than loading each page by hand, the automatic document (ADF) feeder allows you to load up to 50 pages at once. Both sides of the page are scanned simultaneously with one-pass two-sided scanning, delivering a speed of 50 images per minute (ipm) for two-sided documents (singlesided documents process at 25 pages per minute).
Save time with customized scan profiles. Settings for recurring scan jobs - paper size, file destination, and more - can be saved as scan profiles and employed again later at the touch of a button. HP Smart Document Scan Software supports up to 30 scan profiles and comes with preset profiles to get started. The scanner has a pull-out reference chart to list profiles and their corresponding numbers.
Scan a variety of paper sizes, weights and types. The scanner handles everything from 2 by 3.5 inch cards - such as plastic or laminated IDs, insurance and business cards - to documents up to legal size (8.5 by 14 inches). Adjust the paper tray to fit specific page widths to easily scan odd-size documents, such as checks.
