Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice monitor, but with one glitch. I really like the monitor. The image is great, and the adjustments are user-friendly. My only issue is that the physical connection to my laptop is weak; if someone moves the monitor even a little bit, there is a risk that the monitor becomes unplugged. I do not have this problem with my other monitors, so it's a little frustrating. And once it becomes unplugged, I have to fiddle around with the dual power buttons to get it working again. This is a small complaint; overall, it's a nice monitor.

A non-apple product that comes with a USB-C cable so I can connect directly to my macbook without any adapters which means a better connection. This color quality on this monitor is perfect since I have to review designs. It also looks amazing when I'm watching video on it. FYI, there is a blue light setting which is better for your eyes if you have to work all day on a computer like me. Another helpful feature is you can move the screen up and down (no more stacking books under your monitor) so you can get the perfect height (also rotates vertically as well). It has a modern thin bevel so there's even more screen space so I definitely recommend as a work monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect timing. This couldn't have been more perfect timing for me to receive my new Z24 G2 HP monitor. My wife is a school teacher and needs additional monitors so she can more effiecntly do her online teaching with her 1st. graders. I hooked this monitor to my laptop and what a difference. I do a lot of detailed design work and the enlarged 24" screen makes it so much easier on my eyes. Very clear. Easy to set up and wife is no computer wiz. She is able to see the kids much more clear and can see their reaction to things where before on a laptop it was very difficult to see if she was getting through to the little ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing display! This HP Z24n G2 24-inch Monitor has to be one of the sickest and most advanced monitors in the market. If you are like me, who is constantly dealing with graphs and need more than one reliable monitor along with this one, then this is the one. This monitor display the most sharpest graphs and colors my eyes have ever seen. The monitor is very easy to setup, but you do need other things in order to setup extra monitors. Overall, if you want the sharpest and most vibrant colors while working, look for no more, this HP Z24n G2 24-inch Monitor is the one you need. It is guaranteed to blow your mind and turn a few heads.

I really am enjoying the dreaded office time a little more. Love the size but the colors are so good, and it is large enough that I can catch an episode of my latest streaming Design shows. I think for the price it is a good value, I would highly recommend

The base is very solid and allows the monitor to be positioned pretty much any direction. It has multiple options for your connection and even comes with several cables.

Installing it was quick and I was able to connect it to my computer easily. I like the heavy duty stand it came with and it allows enough room under the monitor screen to put my tape dispenser and stapler. The screen has great resolution and it's been a true upgrade from the previous smaller screen I was using. I'm able to see and work on spreadsheets efficiently and clearly.

I am a full-time nursing student so I am on the computer a lot, The 1920 X 1200 Resolution is extremely useful for writing paper side-by-side, I definitely recommend this monitor for anyone in the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear and Responsive Having two monitors in my job (Interior Designer) is a huge advantage! I have had one for a long time and upgrading to two has been a blessing. This monitor was calibrated before I received it and I haven't had to 'fiddle' or adjust it.(The picture shows its comparison.) The renderings have been fairly accurate! Also, it's easy of use has been amazing. It can rotate 360, turn flat face up, etc fall everyone to be able to see and interact with easily!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor! Like so many people these days, I’ve started having to do more work from home. I needed a monitor for my laptop but I didn’t have much table space for it. This HP 24 inch monitor has been just what I wanted. Set up was very easy, I connected it to my laptop and it recognized it immediately. The color quality is amazing, just as good or possibly better than my UHD TV. Adjusting the height is very easy to do, yet the base is very stable. I use this 8 to 10 hours a day at least five days a week. I haven’t had any eye strain or headache issues. Overall, I love this monitor, it is exactly what I needed for my work at home situation. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a high quality monitor but doesn’t have a lot of space for a bigger one.

Let me tell you this, this monitor is wonderful. It us VERY easy on the eyes, monitor controls are notvflinsy, color is beautiful. Hook up to my laptop was super easy. You really have to try this out to understand just how nice it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased! I have been using this monitor for about a week now and am very pleased with it. I did have trouble connecting to it with the USB-C cord that came with it. But once I connected to it with a HDMI it was fine. Brightness, color, and other features are easy to adjust with simple buttons on lower right side of the monitor. The ability to raise and rotate the screen is a nice feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Monitor! Got this monitor and am very impressed. The stand is great with super easy installation with no screws required. Bezel is thin and overall the monitor is very nice to look at with no glare off the matte screen. Stand moves up and down, swivels, tilts and is nice and sturdy with no shaking. Resolution is 1920x1200 and colors are true and vibrant. I like the multiple preset setting modes that it comes with that allows you to adjust the screen quickly without having to change any settings individually to media mode, or night mode etc... Text looks good on this screen but it really shines with media, photos and especially video. I'm just an every day user using business applications, internet and video sites and this monitor is perfect. I am sure you will love it too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear, crisp images For this monitor to not be 4k the images are so clear, crisp, and the colors are great! I've used this to digitally edit some photos and it was so nice! The screen seems bigger than 24". The height on the arm is not adjustable, but does tilt and swivel. It comes with hdmi, dvi, usb, and usb c ports.

Now that I am doing more work from home I decided that this is the perfect time to get a second monitor. This HP 24 inch monitor is perfect. Set up was easy, plug and play straight out of the box. The image is incredible - super crisp! Adjusting the settings is also a cinch! It’s easy to adjust the height also. Arrived very well packaged. This is yet another HP product that exceeds my expectations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up and great on the eyes The hp z24n G2 monitor has been great! I am on the computer 8 hrs a day 6 days a week! The strain I was feeling on my eyes with my previous monitor was causing headaches neck And eye pain! After using this monitor for about a week I noticed I was no longer getting eye pain neck pain or head aches! The ability to adjust my monitor so I’m not staring down at it has made my neck feel so much better! Being able to have it more eye level is best for me and since I am tall it doesn’t always work that way! This monitor can be easily adjusted and adapted to your height has a great swivel to it! The ability to adjust back light and blue light is great.. I think that really saves my eyes! The display is vey beautiful picks up beautiful color as well as when you are reading small print it’s very sharp. Very detailed and defined the color doesn’t bleed like some monitors! Only down side I had was having to buy a new cable because it didn’t fit my computer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful display Bright, beautiful screen. Nice looking stand, substantial and sturdy without looking 'chunky' on the desk. Thin bezels make it look like a larger display area than the old 24 inch LCD it replaced. Just wish there was more vertical adjustment. The max height of this monitor is 2 inches lower than the old Samsung from 2008 it replaced. We'll be buying arms to mount it that way.

Most monitors are 75 Hz or higher these days so for this to be a 60 Hz monitor is a bit underwhelming. I was also hoping the bezel on this would be thinner as most monitors that are 24" or higher are going frameless these days. Still ok overall, but missing all the features which would make it great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only one flaw This is a gorgeous display at tidy but accommodating size. Controls and options menu are easy enough to manage and the ports aren't too close or anything disgruntling like that. The only pressing issue I'm having is just how precise the power cable is. It regularly comes out either on its own or at the slightest jiggle of something nearby on my desk. It's not pictured well, but the cable goes straight up on the rear panel, and any backward pull will disconnect entirely. This renders the cable management on the neck of the monitor all but obsolete, as I have no choice but to line the power cable towards me, the viewer, and down to the floor and outlet, otherwise, no power. I avoided writing this review for a while in case the cable was just stiff from being brand new, but I've owned this monitor since August (writing in February). Still a recommended purchase in my opinion for the money, but I think the design flaw is an easy fix on HP's part. Again, it's not pictured well, but the insert for power is simply too shallow. If it went up deeper, it would stay in just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great monitor, but ... 1. Cable and power cord install vertically upwards on the rear of the monitor. It is difficult to see the sockets when installing the cables, and the power cord falls out for no apparent reason (except gravity). 2. The furnished DisplayPort cable is relatively short - about 6 feet long. A dual monitor setup requires one a bit longer unless you put the computer on your desk. This monitor would not work with a quality 10-foot cable that worked fine with the failed Z24x G2 Dreamcolor monitor this unit replaced.

I'm using it with a Macbook, and PC laptop. The webcam and microphone work great on Windows, couldn't get it to work on the Mac. But it works great as a monitor on the Mac, so I'm happy.

The integrated camera and mic are a nice touch -- no more using my laptop camera and having an angled side-view for conferencing. Single USB-C connection for media with 100W of charging keeps my battery healthy, and USB-A slots in the back replace the need for a docking station ????

Of course I do not know if that is true, but that's what I was told. Monitor was shipped back and credit was received promptly. Aside, I purchased another HP laptop a week or so later, and it is wonderful. I love the 16" screens - perfect for writing, which is what I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No handle on the package box, hard to carry. The monitor is ok. The package box really sucks. It was damaged because there was no handle to hold on so the carrier must used a weak spot to lift it, so it got damaged.

All the extra usb connections on the monitor work great as well. Great monitor. I won’t ever use the pop up camera so I can’t comment on it.

There were no instructions, no indication on how to install the swivel plate, came with useless cords (cords that connected nothing), and the camera and mic don't work. I cost me $$$ to have Geek Squad look at it and it is totally defective. When I called HP I was transferred seven times, hung up on twice, sent to sales which was totally wrong, then rerouted to tech support when I needed customer service. I am fed up with HP. This is not the first time I have gotten a defective monitor from them. Oh well, fool me once shame on you, feel me twice and shame on me. They won't fool me again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture camera. Excellent monitor mic speakers and camera. Did not come with the right cable but customer service took care of sending one out. Like that camera can be popped or down when not in use. Also can set up that if camera is up face rec can be used to log in. Power for the camera so only had to wait two days to use camera and mic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top drawer, rock solid feature rich 16:10 monitor my old 24" HP monitor from 2007 finally started flaking out and I was forced to find a new one. I use CAD and am spoiled by the extra space that a 1920x1200 monitor provides. After far too many days trying to find a reasonably priced replacement I ended up coming back to HP for the Z24u and I am not disappointed- I'm thrilled! I greatly appreciate the finely tuned color calibration out of the box plus a ton of features I'll likely never need. Will it last 15 years like my old one? Who can say? I certainly love the darned thing for now!
