- HotCall lets you identify the caller before you interrupt your Internet session.
Know your gear
HotCall continually monitors your telephone for incoming calls while you’re online. A flashing light and audible ring will alert you when someone is attempting to call. You can then:
1. Identify the caller and take the call. HotCall will automatically terminate your modem connection.
2. Identify the call and decide the call is not urgent. HotCall will maintain your modem connection for several seconds (the exact time depends on your modem),allowing you to resume your Internet use.
3. Identify the caller and ignore the call. Because HotCall is compatible with phone company Voice Mail, you can ignore the call and let the caller leave a message.
