Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dust and Dead pixels on the right half I have bought the monitor screen and right away I couldn't help notice the dead pixels and dust particles on the right half of the screen. I wanted to give it another shot and ordered another G34w for thanksgiving and it has the same issue. Fewer dead pixels but evident. I can't even get on phone with the support since the calls keep us on hold for over 30minutes and randomly cut the calls. Very bad Quality control for a monitor with great potential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lenovo G-34w-10 A Remarkable Monitor The most motor is large enough to extend into your peripheral vision and as a result, it creates an experience that’s incredible and unforgettable. 3440 x 1440 is a tremendous picture quality and a must have for a serious gamer. However, the first Monday that I received had a defect and I had to unfortunately return it. That’s why the four star rating. The menu button was completely broken on the original wonder. But Lenovo send me a replacement and let me keep that monitor that was functionally dysfunctional until the new one right. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gaming monitor with a fair price tag. I wanted a large ultrawide gaming monitor however I wasn't willing to pay $800+ for an IPS 144+ hz one. There were absolutely no reviews of this monitor anywhere which is really odd. It looked great on the paper but being a VA panel I had my doubts. After some research I found out that this G34W-10 shared the same panel as an AOC monitor and reviews on that one were positive. I didn't like the fancied up "gamer" look of the AOC monitor and found Lenovo's subtle look more appealing so I pulled the trigger. Lenovo is a good, reliable brand and I was sure they would have good customer support. Monitor arrived in a few days and I was very pleased that there were no dead pixels, backlight bleeding issues etc. I had to manually switch the Display Port version to 1.4 in monitor settings to get 144hz and 10 bit depth working. I have had the monitor for about 2 weeks now and I have played many different types of games. Colors are beautiful and black levels are great. My biggest concern with VA panel monitors was screen smearing / ghosting but once you set overdrive to normal this monitor does a fine job in fast paced games as well. Most newer games support the 21:9 ultrawide resolutions and it's a whole new world! The curvature of the screen adds up to the immersion and you really get to enjoy games without having to turn your head.l am using this monitor with a Radeon rx5700 xt and freesync works great. Stand is sturdy and height/tilt adjustable. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to any fellow gamer.

After a few days of use and testing monitor looks great right by my 34 inch Acer predator. 144hz is awesome playing games and it's great for productivity working from home. Definitely good value for the price.

I mounted mine below my other 24" gaming monitor and the combo works good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value The G34w looks amazing. The curve basically melts away and you're left with pure immersion in whatever video game you're playing. By virtue of being VA, the contrast is leagues better than on TN. The blacks are SO black. Colors are not as accurate as IPS, but they're still good. All that said, I'm docking a star due to inferior OSD options compared to its equivalent. I've had both side by side, and yes the differences are magnified if you're looking at both simultaneously, but I definitely would've preferred the granular control on the other compared to this. I could forgive less DP/HDMI inputs on this monitor, but I'd like to be able to control the gamma and HDR which this monitor lacks. However, it did end up being ~$100 cheaper so it's all about what you value.

The Curve and the refresh rate is really makes a difference. the color reproduction is good, given this is a VA panel, my other IPS panel is slightly more vibrant, but the black levels are way better on this monitor. There is minor color shifting when viewing from an angle. I've read people having problems with flickering with the included DP cable but i used one i already had so i didn't have those problems, haven't tested the included cable myself though. You can really tell the difference between 60/75 and 144Hz just moving my mouse around looks so smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor. Slightly off color Great looking monitor! A nice step up from my 1080p. 144hz refresh rate is so smooth. Color on text seems discolored, but i feel this can be fixed with software tweaks. Be aware you may need to calibrate the color when you begin to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor, with some caveats When the monitor arrived, the box was severely damaged via shipping, and there was a small area on the screen with either a crack or some dead pixels. After a call to Lenovo, a new monitor was shipped out, and arrived a few weeks later. The new monitor seems to be in great condition. Adjusting to an ultra wide, if you have never used one, can take some time. I was accustomed to using 2 24" or 27" monitors, so there was definitely an adjustment period, from the seemingly smaller font to sorting windows on the screen. I don't, however, see myself going back to separate monitors. For gaming, this is quite a fun experience, and for getting work done, snapping windows to the sides has become second nature. There is a slight bit of ghosting and tearing that I've noticed, but that may be a configuration issue, and I will respond later about this, as I'm hoping to tweak the settings a bit this weekend. Overall, this is a great monitor at this price point, and I would definitely recommend it going forward.

I think that for a 34" curved 144hz monitor that cost under $500 is impressive. The only features I do not like it that it only has 1 HDMI port and 1 DPI port. I have noticed that this monitor reacts slow for turning on its response time, but its hardly noticeable. I would recommend this monitor for working/gaming if on a budget!

The one star taken away is for the recessed bracket attachment point. It's a good look when on it's stand, but when I tried to mount it on my adjustable arm, it was a mm too tight.

Color is much better after getting a good custom profile from another user. Having a good graphics card that can handle a refresh rate capable of RGB color mode at max resolution is essential, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large Clear Screen I was tired of squinting at the text on my laptop, (even with it being a 17 inch screen. Bought this 34 inch monitor, and set it up. It came with a strange cable. After searching around for an adapter to plug into my laptop from the supply cable, I gave up. Finally hooked it up with a HDMI cable. After plugging it in, the laptop output did not cover the full screen. I tried all the settings I thought it would be, and none of them were an improvement. Finally tried a setting I didn't think would work, 3440 x 1440, bingo! I do like the curved screen, and a large area. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to you.

I saw a lot of reviews of issues eith this monitor but have not had any issues with mine the freesync works well and colors are pretty good. Its simplistic design is a big reason I went with this monitor and gaming on it is amazing.

The color looks very washed out, the brightness level is pretty bad and it keeps flickering in most games I play when freeSync is turned on in my AMD driver. I heard that people solved this by purchasing a separate $20 DP 1.4 Cable, which I did, and it didn't improve much. I really wanted this to work because of the amazing price. But I will have to return them. If you only use these for coding/excel/content editing etc, then they might be OK, and you could really feel the 144Hz refresh rate making everything smoother, but for gaming, NO.

However, it does have noticeable ghosting, depth issues, and latency at times which I can detect. My worse experience has been the dead pixels that arrived with the monitor.

Colors are good for me on the srgb preset. The only issue with this monitor I’ve noticed is that blacks will ghost (which appears to be a thing with VA panels in this price range). It’s relatively minor and does not outweigh the pros of this monitor. Pros: Resolution and refresh rate Adjustable stand Accessible price (especially when on sale) Cons: Some ghosting on blacks/dark colors Only 2 ports (1 hdmi and 1 display port) All in all, I’d recommend this monitor.

I like the extra space on my desk by replacing two 25" monitors with a single screen. The best thing about this monitor is the ability to view all columns on a spreadsheet without scrolling back and forth. I am still getting used to sharing the screen during a virtual meeting. I have to make extra adjustments to what I am sharing. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Lenovo was great about sending me a new monitor and made the return process very easy. Unfortunately the 2nd monitor also had a dead pixel. Again Lenovo customer support was excellent and said they could send me a 3rd replacement or refund me completely. I chose to go with the refund. If you are okay with one small dead pixel or lucky enough to get one without. This would be a good monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect monitor for work, browsing, gaming-ish Just amazing. Its at a really good price, the quality is extraordinary. Honestly nothing to say that is negative about it. If you can afford it, the quality price is as good as it gets. Keep in mind, depending on the types of games you play you might want to consider something else, so for example games like skyrim, eso... it would work, but games like dying light, dark souls, elden ring... who do no support it gets annoying as not all the screen is used and can be an eyesore (unless you mod, but again online games ban modding sometimes). So for gaming just make sure of the games you play.

I like this MUCH better than the dual monitor setup. I often have 3 or more windows in use and find this to be much better for positioning the windows effectively to suit the task at hand. I liked it so much, I bought a second one to use in my home office.

I'm temporary pairing this with my high-end gaming PC (while waiting for my 4K display with a RX 6900 XT. This would ultimate be driven by an RX 5700 XT on secondary gaming system in the bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with a couple downsides Everything is great on it, probably the best specs for the price, great stand and build quality, etc. Some downsides though: - came with a scratch on the screen so now there's just a line of dead pixels in the corner. Doesn't bother me too much since it's not right in the center though. - the cord it came with doesn't work at all, if you tried running it with it the screen would just black out every minute. I had to buy another DP cable for it to work. Overall: I'm still happy with my purchase as compared to others at the price point i got it at, this was leading.

The quality of the monitor after some color calibration is good for this price range. The only reason I give it 3 star is because of quality control. It looks like between the layers of panel I have some sort of scratch or fiber stuck inside it. It's not dead pixel but like a small line causing those pixels not to be rendered. It did not want to go through returns again and hence have kept using it since it doesn't spoil the display experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A surprisingly good screen! I didn't need a new screen as I already own a 16:9 32", I just wanted one and this Lenovo screen seemed like a great candidate. What was important to me was the curved design, the thin bezel and a high refresh rate: this baby delivers all that and more. I have never seen my games running so smoothly, and as a bonus, the strain on my eyes is almost entirely gone. Sure, it's not a super high-end monitor, but you get quite the bang for your buck as it sports AMD's Freesync Premium technology (G-Sync is supported too, even though it's not mentionned, 2K resolutions at full 144Hz, a very nice options menu with plenty of adjustments. Also, it was mostly plug and play and came with a heavy and sturdy stand, a Display Port cable and power cable. It's not the most decked out screen in terms of connectivity, with only one HDMI and one DP port. It has a VA panel which isn't as "flashy" or as bright as an OLED or IPS panel, but with the right settings, you can get a clean and clear picture. No HDR either, no speakers (who uses those anyway anymore) but a headphone jack (for HDMI audio through the monitor) is available. To sum it up, it's a great screen for a reasonable pricetag which will please most PC gamers, musicians or anyone else who needs a vast area to work on. I can only recommend this monitor.

No display from any port, cant see adjustment option - just a faint glow from the screen. Opened a ticket and was asked for a full photo spread of bar code, serial number, screen etc. Sent all that in, now complete silence, no updated online, no answers to my email. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not recommend more. These displays are incredible and sadly do not have many technical reviews online. A few things to note: They do reflect a good bit of light do to almost a satin finish, so pay attention to light sources behind you. To get 3440x1440p at 144hz you must use the display port connection. The current Hdmi standard in these displays do not appear to support the high refresh rate. One of these 34in displays feels about the size of two 24in monitors. The curve is not to aggressive and with the size, games fit perfectly. Fps games do not stretch like wider formats seen on the market. I have purchased two for my set up and for the price/quality of these displays I will absolutely purchase more for other arrangements. Over all, lenovo does not get enough praise in the market for displays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor, but still a VA panel I upgraded from a 34 inch LG ultrawide that had a IPS panel. Compared to that the higher resolution and refresh rate makes a world of difference. The screen looks amazing, and the fact that it is curved is actually pretty nice. The only downsides from my last monitor are due to this being a VA panel. It gets pretty bad ghosting and colors don't seem as nice, sometimes you see sort of a grid from the pixels too. Although those small downsides pale in comparison to the higher resolution and refresh rate.

Was able to achieve 100Hz refresh rate with HDMI 2.0 cable on my 2018 Mac Mini which is nice because I was expecting 60Hz. Colors/picture is good but not amazing, definitely love the monitor but the picture itself falls under "you get what you pay for". 100% would buy again!

On day one, the relatively dim max brightness setting struck me as a major downside (especially when positioned in a well-lit room but after a while, I got used to it. Every other feature of this monitor is superb. There are no sneaky catches or anything like that, just a great price!

This is not precisely a small monitor, but it works great for me because it allows me to work by setting side-by-side windows that would otherwise be impossible on my 16" laptop. The monitor arrived fairly quick (within 4 days) after I ordered it. However after unpacking and installing it, it was fairly evident -to me- that it had at least a couple of dead pixels that were visible about an inch from the left of the screen (upper and lower corners). Then another pixel failed towards the right of the screen. I reported this the week after and the post-sales area quickly processed a replacement for me. I installed it and it didn't have dead pixels. Summary: - It seems to be a very good monitor, the viewing range is quite comfortable. - I can both lift the monitor up/down and tilt it as well up/down, which was one of the main reasons I got it. - I don't like to think dead pixels will happen in the future, but that's a possibility. - Minimalistic bezel, that is quite awesome.

It was easy to set up (make sure you have the right cable) and now I can easily have multiple programs open and visible at the same time. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value. Not high end. Solid monitor for mixed use. Colors seem accurate. I'm getting a fair amount of backlighting variance. Dark background exacerbates the issue. Light seems to bleed a bit for sides and corners. I would not recommend this for high end editing or competitive gaming. That said it has performed as expected for the price range. It is a good value and should not disappoint on sale, avoid only if you are picky or seek high performance.

I had two Lenovo 27 inch monitors and decided to get this 34 inch ultra wide to replace them since I found the two took up too much space. This one was perfect. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to automatically split the screen in the monitor settings.
