Rated 5 out of 5 bySTJ1 from Best UST Projector availableI first purchased the less expensive brands. They had edge warping issues and central focus with extremely fuzzy edges. I finally purchased the HU85 and all those issues are gone. This is brighter, sharper and smarter than the others. I have it coupled with an XY ALR PET Crystal at 110" and it is leaps and bounds better. It is comparable with my 65" Samsung 4K except the HDR 4K videos resemble OLED motion. The image is not as vibrant as a LED or OLED in the daytime, but, 110" at night with a movie or Netflix destroys any TV. For daytime use with the ALR screen and casual viewing it is perfectly fine as i dont watch meaningful content during the day, if i do i just draw the blinds and instant home theater.

Based on what I can see LG prices well it’s projector and it won’t break the bank. Have you seen the specs? They looks amazing and I can’t wait for a release date. I was about to spend 5K on a Sony regular projector and it would have required some change to the room et . But with this LG Short throw my room is ready and I won’t need to remove the chandelier... please provide a release date ASAP!
