Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and Efficient Working everyday for 8 hours or more using a computer, I have used several keyboards over the past 12 years extensively. Recently, we upgraded several office computers to the Logitech MK540 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. I was not disappointed. The keys have smooth action and touch. The keyboard layout is well-planned and allows for the maximum efficiency. The wireless mouse is fast and without delays. All in all, this keyboard combo rates Five Stars in my opinion.

The pair is comfortable and sturdy which is important because I work from home and spend several hours a day at my computer. The abrasion-resistant key labeling, adjustable tilt feature, and lighted caps lock key make this my favorite keyboard and mouse ~ and I would purchase it again!

After not being used for a minute or so, it takes several seconds to be activated. This is not good since it can mess up typing in passwords and other critical information. I do like that the CAPS lock key has a light to indicate that the CAPS lock is on.

I have to move around the keyboard or the mouse once in a while to get contact and continues operation. The keyboard and mouse are 3-feet away from the Logitech Unifying™ receive USB device.

As soon as the Bluetooth dongle is plugged into the computer in seconds the keyboard and mouse are ready to be used. Great for laptops also??The keyboard weight is perfect to lounge around on the sofa and can still type with it. The keyboard has nice smooth key strikes. With little to no clicking sound. I would totally recommend this for someone who works from home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great-feeling combo! The first thing that caught my eye (hand? about this keyboard and mouse was how great they felt! It's this almost velvety-smooth plastic. The mouse fits my hand very well--unlike others I have tried that just felt entirely too bulky. The keyboard had great functions like audio control, which I find extremely helpful as I work in an office environment and always have music playing--it's so much easier to toggle tracks or adjust volume on the keyboard instead of having to navigate to the window from where the music is playing. Installation was SO EASY. Unlike other (wired and wireless) devices I have used, there was NO SETUP. Literally I turned the keyboard and mouse on, plugged in the USB, and I was ready to go! I found that super helpful--no installation of software either. The packaging was streamlined and efficient. The space along the bottom of the keyboard allowed for a wrist rest, without the bulkiness of having to use an actual rest, and it seems to be more spacially-efficient than other keyboards that tend to have larger rests. It's awesome that both the mouse and keyboard run off of the same USB input--which frees up a port that would otherwise be taken with the other input device. I gave this four starts only because the mouse doesn't have the page forward/backward button that my old mouse had--nothing critical, and something I never needed or even wanted until I had. Overall, great set up, and I cannot stress enough how pleasing the feel of it is!

The backlighting is cool and not too bright or dim. It works great with my laptop abd my one tablet with the easy USB port. I have alsi used wit with my Roku and smart tv! The mouse fits comfortably in my hand and the keyboard is ergonomically designed for easy use and sets nicely anywhere without discomfort. I can use tgis thing acriss the room abd the signal is seemless with no lag. I was very impressed with this inexpensive yet power packed unit. Love this thing and would recommend to anyone.

After opening the box I realized how good looking these 2 product are, very sleek and modern design they have. The setup of both items was very easy and fast, we manage to read the instructions and set them up in 6 minutes. The soft touch of both items feels great. The ergonomics of the keyboard are great because it helps when using it at not getting your wrists tired. The keys have a great feeling, and they don’t make a lot of noise when using, light indicator for the battery and caps, love these. Very easy to use keyboard, even for the kids, because of the 3 different tilts that we can use for it, is also spill resistant. The mouse, the rubber sides on it makes it very easy to move around and have a great grip of it. We love the fact that this mouse is ambidextrous because we definitely needed at mouse for both, right and left handed. It also fits perfectly in the hand. Both items are compatible with Windows 10 or later, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Chrome Os. The battery life of the keyboard is 36 month and 18 mo tha for the mouse, which by the way they were included already. Overall we like these product as and we been enjoying it as a family.

The keyboard and mouse combo conflicts with my network wireless (2.4gh and the mouse pointer is slow or lost at times although I just purchased a wireless booster/extender for my router. I also receive messages that the software is out of date but am not sure how/where to get latest updates or if they are even available. I love the idea of a "clean"desk without all the wires so I will persist and perhaps purchase another wireless combo model.

The keyboard on the other hand, feels clunky with a heavy touch needed on the keys. Many keyboards have lighter, more responsive keys and when you switch to this one, it just feels clunky. Worse, I've bought about a dozen of these sets for staff members and at least 5 of them have developed dead keys in a relatively short period of time. Not the usual great Logitech Quality I've come to expect.

I like not having excess wiring all over my desktop to support the keyboard and mouse. Right in my price range. One suggestion -- the BT transmitter-receiver looks identical to one I purchased years ago -- be nice if there was some kind of identifying markings to distinguish which goes with which keyboard and mouse. Otherwise, A-OK in all respects.

Mouse is comfortable and responsive, but keyboard has a somewhat clunky feel to the keys. They don't have a very light touch, and the keys don't have the familiar depression in the top of the key that many other keyboards have. Also, several of these keyboards have developed a dead key or two on them in relatively short time. Users seem to like them though.

They gave me a link which did not get me to the needed spot but close enough that I could find it. Now that the driver is installed, it seems to be working better. Would have been nice to know that from the start.

The low rating is mostly due to the noticeable delay in keyboard response when I'm resting my fingers for more than a few seconds. I expect to be able to type in a text field without having to look to see if the keyboard is keeping up with me. The built in wrist pad is a tad too small for my taste, but that is much less of an issue than a keyboard that sleeps so soundly I can type almost 30 letters before it wakes up and shows me that is missed the first 15. (no, not measured, but yes, often lose the beginning of of a string of letters when I start fresh.

Nice wrist rest and full sized. The mouse is perfectly shaped and easily grip able. Very quick and east set up. Now lets see how long it performs at this level.

And the keyboard keys are practically flat and it is difficult to feel the F and J keys if you are a touch-typist.

I don't like a mouse that feels too light, or too heavy, and this was just right. I like them so much I'm actually purchasing another one to replace our other keyboard and mouse.

This is a much better design, the keys are pretty quiet, and the mouse sits nicely in my hand. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combo. Good budget wireless keyboard/mouse combo. My users like the contoured ambidextrous mouse and full-size keyboard. Mouse is slightly smaller than full-size but larger than mobile -- small enough to be portable. The nano receiver is low profile and can be left permanently in laptops/tablets without being too obtrusive. The receiver is also programmable with Logitech's Unifying software tool so new devices can be paired and removed, though we've had issues in the past pairing Logitech devices from different generations. Range is decent -- I was able to control a conference room stick PC (Intel Compute Stick) from 15ft away through open air. Keyboard and mouse also function well through desks, monitors, etc. Battery life is good, we have to change every 6mo or so with sustained 40hr workweek usage. Typical AA batteries for both. Like so many wireless products, this set is subject to: 1) Congestion. We have 15-18 of these in a cubicle environment. Sometimes users notice interference. 2) RF interference. While not a problem with the keyboard/mouse set itself, it is still affected by the industry-wide problem of poor shielding between the USB2 and USB3 buses. Additionally, if this device is sharing a bus with other chatty hardware (e.g., flash drives, external HDDs, phones, etc), you may also notice keystroke/mouse lag. Buy a short dedicated 3ft extension cable or similar to separate the receiver from motherboard USB3 RF interference and away from adjacent USB3 ports and move the receiver to direct line-of-sight. Additionally, keeping this device on its own USB (legacy 2.0) port grouping has alleviated input lag problems for us. HTH

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So so review. I might not have bought it if I knew it was limited to some degree. Just OK, would have liked more customization like my old LogiTech Combo. Limited key assignments for applications like the older combo I have. Not really supported by Logitech Mouse and Keyboard application is the reason for that. Otherwise, does the job well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good design, laggy Bluetooth. Both keyboard and mouse are a bit laggy. Keyboard keys seem to stick so you really need to be careful when typing. Not sure if too many USB peripherals plugged into laptop/monitor causing lag/bugs or if hardware. Have had other wireless keyboards/mice that didn't do this. Decent functionality/action on both.

Turns out there was interference with other USB devices. Moving the dongle to the front of the computer, away from other USB connections, solved the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elitebook is great! I had a Pavillion that lasted 7 years, and wanted another HP. The touch screen is a great feature (that Macs don’t have). I am loving the Elitebook. It’s light and fast, and once I disabled the right click on the tracking pad, it’s been amazing! I do wish the DVD player was still an option. Very happy with my Elitebook and highly recommend.

The full size mouse has soft surfaces and accommodate left or right hand operation. The USB stores in the mouse when travelling. Easy and reliable connection and great battery life. I liked the set so much that I purchased one for work and home.

I don't like the way the palm rest is molded on. It makes the key and finger placement feel weird to me. I REALLY wish the mouse had a back button. Also, the wheel squeaks when I go up or down. it feels low budget. Probably because it is low budget. The single dongle for both was a breeze though. Truly plug and play, no set up. Eh, it will do but I will replace it at some point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good For All Day Use and Fatigued Hands At first I thought the keyboard was going to be too bulky as I have been using the slim dell keyboard but it provides a nice rest for your hands. It has great keys again thought the would be too bulky but they are easy to feel with your finger tips. So far so good I would recommend this keyboard if you are on the computer all day, it helps with fatigued hands. I have not used the mouse so far I'm using a laptop mouse because I have small hands, but I will try it at some point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, just clumsy keys. Both keyboard and mouse connected easily and began functioning immediately. I am a bit disappointed in the keys on the keyboard. They are not as elevated and separated as the ones on the really old keyboard they replaced. They are much more difficult to type with, but are apparently all that is available now....still wondering why the old ones were replaced. Hopefully, I will get used to it. I do like the light on the caps lock buitton.

I returned the item without using it when it arrived and I realized I did not get what I wanted.

This is great when the mouse and keyboard go separate directions. With less expensive keyboards if this happens you're toast. CDW had the best price as well
