Rated 5 out of 5 by from If the trackball is no longer cutting it, try this Switched to this from the Logitech trackball (the cheaper one with the blue trackball). Learning curve was not bad, and this mouse is super comfortable. Logitech Flow didn't work for me (with one MacOS machine and one Windows machine), but I didn't buy it for Flow. Switching between computers via bluetooth is easy enough with the button underneath the mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice idea/Design but execution falls short The Vertical Mouse itself does provide some ergonomic relief due to it's design. The 'Forward/Back' button under the thumb is too far forward to be useful. The Scroll wheel/button is also a button, but does not have a scroll left/right function. The most buttons are configurable using the Logitech Options software. However, a partial reason for my purchase was to utilize the Logitech Flow - Multi-System Capability, with the intent to replace "Mouse without Borders". My testing showed several deficiencies; Mouse did not reliably track/move between systems. Latency at screen edge is too long, and is not configurable. Flow has no backward or cross compatibility with keyboards. The selection of Flow compatible keyboards is VERY limited and do not include a 'WAVE' style keyboard (think large "Delete" key. Flow is not supported/functional on Linux.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Thought that I would give this mouse and a new ergonomic keyboard a try. Figured why wait for wrist problems. Did some research and watched some video reviews and decided to try it out. Love this mouse, not only was it an easy transition but this mouse is so comfortable. I have not taken the time to employ all off the extra functions but the basic operation makes me a very happy boy. I am planning on buying one for my mom for her birthday and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it. Best Regards, D.O.C

Minor nitpicks are the scroll wheel has a lot of resistance (think generic scroll wheel) compared to the MX Master and the Logitech Flow feature has some delay when switching between screens. Overall great vertical Mouse. Logitech Flow could be better.

The pointer drags quickly and it accurate. The charger holds as described and it is easier on your wrist as advertised. The wireless feature is nice and works great. Overall this is a good computer mouse and aside from the odd shape that takes a bit of getting used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice, but not a game-changer I'm not normally a first adopter, but I had some credit from Dell and decided to try the MX Vertical. The MX Vertical may reduce hand and wrist stress for office work, but isn't well suited for gaming requiring fast mouse movements. If you put your forearm and hand on a desk in front of you, your hand automatically is in the position you will use to hold the MX Vertical. You don't rotate your wrist like you do with a traditional mouse. However, that means you are gripping the MX Vertical with your hand and thumb, rather than the traditional mouse where the weight of your hand to presses the mouse against the desktop. For me, when I moved the MX Vertical quickly, I automatically gripped the MX Vertical more tightly. That sometimes resulted in lifting the MX Vertical slightly off the desktop. Otherwise, the MX Vertical is well-made, has good weight, and appears to be quality materials and workmanship typical of Logitech products

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multiple connections options and very comfortable I have been using a vertical mouse since over a year and am never going back to the tradition mouse. This Logitech mouse is definitely one of the better ones out there and provides multiple options to connect wirelessly - through Bluetooth or with the USB pairing dongle. It has a rubberized grip area and DPI control is also in a very accessible position. The battery life is amazing. It is definitely larger than the one I was using so it took a couple of days to get the hang of it, but it is also more comfortable due to the grip it provides.

I felt a significant decrease in wrist and finger strain immediately. It took about three days to adapt to the new configuration but now it feels totally natural. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ergonomics! I really am liking the ergonomics of this mouse. I was having problems with my wrist when on the computer for long period of times, but this mouse has definitely helped. The only drawback is that it does stick up higher than normal and is easily knocked.

I have been using it for about a month and the difference is astounding. The wrist, elbow, and pain back have been relieved. Additionally, the functionality of the mouse is fantastic! The sleek design makes it comfortable to use. Downloading the Logitech software allows for Unifying with other Logitech peripherals and additional features.

I wanted something new, and working on my computer for hours at a time, perhaps having your write slightly not ergonomically turned out would put more strain where it shouldn't - I figured I'd try out this extremely quirky looking mouse. Do I think my world is forever altered? No - but do I think I'd go back to a conventional mouse? Also no. So I'm going to say it's a good purchase if you're in the market for something new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relieved hand and wrist pain I'm currently working from home, so I don't have an ergonomic desk where I could raise or lower it to ease my wrist and arm pain; I'd also use my home computer mouse which added to the pain. Well, a bit pricey but worth every penny! I'd say the pain in my arm/wrist was cut by 80%. Big difference!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort that lasts Purchased the product after needing to work remotely and realized I have not used a mouse at home in years. My iMac has a trackpad. Any how, I prefer to use an ergonomic mouse to slow the regression or discomfort from carpal; since I spend hours on my laptop. As a result, Logitech is always my go to for gear from gaming keyboards, headphones, as well as mice. The comfort and ease of use is what should be expected. I no longer feel the discomfort on my wrist and shoulder. Can now use that energy to feel more productive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't go back to traditional mice I was on the look-out for a new mouse, and this one caught my eye. After just a couple days of adjustment, traditional mice feel incredibly painful in comparison. If you are looking for a more comfortable mouse, give this a shot. Sadly, the extra back and forward buttons on the thumb size are pretty much unusable due to their location. This would be more important if they were fully programmable though, since they aren't it's forgettable. Also lacks the advanced scroll wheel on the two other Logitech MX mice.

Previously, I had the Apple Magic Mouse and as cool as it looks, it was not doing any favors for my wrist. On top of that, I would forget to charge it and it can't be used while charging which would lead me to use the track pad, which is the absolute worst for your wrist.

The first thing I noticed was the overall look and feel.The tracking speed setting is nice, so you can easily change it without having to dig into your computer's settings. I found the click wheel and other buttons to be response and enjoyable.The mouse has a rubberized surface all around, except for the buttons, and has a rib pattern that makes the mouse slide without having to apply pressure. The battery is rechargeable and it also works as a wired mice when the cable is connected to the computer, while charging.Getting used to the device takes a few minutes since we have all been trained to hold a mouse different our whole lives.Once you get use to it it'll be the best you ever had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learning Curve But Worth It I've used a traditional mouse for the past 20 years and using this ergonomic mouse was definitely a learning curve and takes some getting use to. Now that I've been using it for a couple of weeks, I will never go back to using a traditional mouse. You can tell the difference in the way it positions your hand, fingers and wrist. I've never been a big fan of mouse pads and/or wrist gel pads and using this vertical mouse, I was able to eliminate those items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maybe the best. I'm 38 years old and have used many mice through school and my design profession. This is likely the best mouse I've ever owned. It hits on all levels. Aesthetically it has a subtly elegant but functional form that is created with very appropriate finishes. The main grip is a ribbed rubberized surface which grips very well. The buttons respond quickly and provide a satisfying click as they quickly return to position. The mouse is well balanced and light so it moves very easily. As for the ergonomic upright position, it is fairly comfortable but I wouldnt mind having a bit more volume at the back of the mouse. The length seems good to me. My hand is 7.5" from tip of middle finger to bottom edge of palm. This is the second upright mouse I have owned and I wouldn't use another type for how much they have relieved pain in parts of the arm. Bonus for this mouse is the ability to recharge it and so far great battery.

Your hand may hurt from being in the same position and a change could help. But, you probably wouldn't find it to be your regular use mouse if, you click and move at a fast pace.

I seems like I do not have to move the mouse as much as the "normal" mouse (either wireless/bluetooth or wired ones. The other nice feature, is that I can use it with more than one computer simultaneously.

I picked this mouse to see if holding my hands in a different position would help and it has done wonders for me! My wrists no longer hurt as bad and I’m able to enjoy my games again. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Five Stars! I've always had a need for a good mouse. Classic mouse have given me wrist pain after especially long sessions. First and foremost, it looks and feels fantastic in my hand. It didn't take me long to get used to the new position. It felt completely normal after just a few minutes, and it is very light. The mouse's overall body is made of a plastic polymer, making it both durable and light. The textured surface strengthens grip and makes the overall user experience more pleasant. The left and right buttons are around the right side, with the scroll wheel in the center. The scroll wheel is covered with the same rubber as the rest of the mouse. It's silky smooth, with a subtle click. Two more adjustable buttons can be found around the left side. These are located just above your thumb and are easy to hit, even if your hands are small. To save battery life, it has a simple on/off button on the bottom. This mouse is fantastic in general. I've never used a mouse as comfortable as this one. Definitely recommend this mouse if you want a comfortable and easy-to-use product!

It has additional buttons for programming and the buttons can be programmed using Logitech. It works on majority of the surfaces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use, easy on wrist Easy on the waist for prolong use, speed of using mouse slightly reduced, might just be that it's a different design as compared to the traditional shaped mice that I have used in the past. Delivery from Dell was fast, set up was fast, just plug in receiver into my laptop and it worked. Mouse came charged and ready to use out of box. USB cable to charge. I downloaded the Logiopts app that shows the battery icon which indicates the level of charge on the mouse, otherwise you just have to wait on the red light to appear on mouse to let you know when to charge mouse. I have been using mouse every day for a few weeks now and I have not had to charge mouse. There is a power switch which I have also left on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and revitalized mouse! The Logitech MX vertical is a well designed and revitalized mouse. The ergonomic “handshake position” does take the pressure off my wrists and that along with the ridged texture feels comfortable making the mouse work like a controller in my hand. The buttons are easy to reach and responsive on the first try. The functions can be adjusted to your preferences with Logitech Options. The dpi sensor is precise and works better than the standard mouse so I am not working so hard to point and select. I found this was most comfortable to use on my larger desk because I had more room to get more of my wrist and arm on the desk top than just the bottom side of my palm on my smaller desk. Besides the comfort and precision this has interesting and convenient features like being able to use this between two computers at the same time and similarly being able to drag and drop files. All and all I think this is a really good product. It’s well made, durable, has lots of good features and great battery life with fast recharging. I think it looks like a twisting tear drop and looks cool in a modern way. The graphite color is nice and it blends in well with my computers. I definitely don’t want to hide it in the drawer. This is a plus for people working long hours on computer tasks as well as those with pain issues or those looking to avoid them. Very pleased. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable and well designed but missing a couple features I got this mouse mostly for my wife because she spends a lot of time on the computer and has regular shoulder/back issues related to her work-station. Unfortunately, for this review, she found the biggest help for her issues to actually be switching her mouse to her left hand and this mouse does not switch hands. So I gave the mouse a go and I must say I enjoy using it. It is silky smooth sliding across my desk and easy enough to get the hang of, but there IS a learning curve with the different posture. I like the feel of the grip and the fact that it uses USB-C for charging. I also like being able to easily and quickly adjust the dpi when switching between my laptop screen and my 4k monitor. It has some really cool features that I don't need, but where it loses the star is in the scroll wheel not having the logitech infinity scroll feature and the lack of just a couple programmable buttons. Also, if you DO try out this mouse, be sure and use a wrist pad. It makes a HUGE difference in how comfortable it is to use. I didn't notice it at first, but after 20 minutes or so I noticed that when I use this mouse I rest my wrist on my desk on one spot on the right side of my palm. After awhile it gets a bit painful, but the wrist pad completely nullifies that issue better aligns my arm to the mouse.

A good looking addition to my computer station. I was amazed at how quickly I adapted to the 57 degree hand position, it just makes sense. Very happy with the options and easy set up. Great idea and fantastic result. The MX Vertical is well done good job Logitech.

The mouse was recognized on my computer as soon as I plugged in the USB plug. It is built very well and seems very durable as it is being used. It is very comfortable as well. I've had issues using a regular mouse in the past as it just doesn't feel natural to use where as this one does. It keeps my arm from feeling sore over long periods of use. It functions with ease and I can do anything on it I normally could do with a normal mouse. Very ergonomic and I definitely recommend to those who are in need!

This mouse has helped my hand to not hurt!! It's so easy to use and the fact that it is wireless makes it that much more easier to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strange Yet Satisfying!!! The Logitech MX Wireless Vertical Mouse looks like something straight out of the sci-fi books. The MX Wireless mouse is a strange looking mouse but yet its so comfortable to hold with its soft touch plastic and nautilus shell like finish around the curve that fits perfectly right in your hand. So, this mouse does take a bit of getting used to, I have been using this for a few days now and the button are pretty much flat and don’t really fall with the curvature of the fingers so there have been a couple times where I mixed up the buttons. So, let’s go over some of the PROs and CONs of the Logitech MX Wireless Vertical Mouse. PRO- - Feels great in the hand - Ability to switch pointer speed with a simple click, Multiple customizable buttons, and a scroll wheel. - The best feature of this mouse aside from the way you hold it is its rechargeable battery. Not sure how long the battery will last but so far so good. - Light weight and satisfying to hold CON- -Due to the odd but comfortable shape the button place does not feel natural. It does take a bit of getting used to. -Not good for gaming Overall, this is an amazing mouse that is comfortable to use and is completely customizable based on your need. This has become my new go to mouse and I would definitely recommend anyone in the market to give this mouse a shot.

It feels very comfortable in my hands, it also, reduce muscle strain in my arms/shoulder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and comfort Very comfortable to use. I have some wrist pain for which I was looking for more ergonomic mouse. Tried the Evoluent first, but then decided on this instead. Evoluent feels very cheap and plastic-y. The one I tried was very shiny plastic - knowing my clumsiness, I would probably drop it and break it. Initial concern of the MX Vertical was that it wasn't as vertical as the Evoluent. But that concern subsided since I haven't felt any wrist pain. (Based on your wrist situation, each person will have different experience I guess. I like the rubberised feel as well - nice a grippy. Also being able to switch between 3 devices is fantastic - I have both Mac and PC. No regrets for the time being. Fingers crossed it lasts! I also tried the MX 3 - read somewhere it's also ergonomic (not sure how). Didn't like the "free spinning" scroll wheel on that. The Vertical has a more "traditional" scroll wheel I'd say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broken Wrist Perfect for consistent usage of a mouse. Recently broke my wrist and was in a brace for 9 weeks, so I had to make a change with the typical mouse. I am right handed and I would definitely recommend for anyone that suffers with wrist or elbow pains. This vertical mouse has the ability to be hard wired into any device that is usb equipped with the capabilities of being connected up to three different wireless devices at anytime. So beyond the connectivity of the device lets get to fit and ease of movement. I have large hands and long fingers literally I wear a large glove the mouse and scroll fit my fingers with no discomfort and the glide is smooth showing no moments of pause or jagged/skips when copying or scrolling over particular characters. Also on the opposite end my sister has an extremely small hand wears small to extra small glove and also has tennis elbow though our fingers do not land on the same location on the mouse she able to utilize the mouse and the scroll wheel as well. She has only used it for a short time so I will have to give an new update since her hands are a lot smaller and the size and positioning of a mouse makes a big difference if you are on the computer in excess of 8 hours a day.

Precision, comfort, and ergonomics are all key to keeping me productive and happy. The Logitech MX wireless vertical advanced mouse takes care of key issues with reliable Bluetooth connectivity, complete functionality, precise control, and a proper position that keeps my elbow down and shoulder externally rotated for better long-term posture and health. It's everything I need in a mouse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Unique Very unique. I am still getting used to it. Unable to freely open apps as smoothly yet. I would like to have more friction on the mouse pad and the wheel. I have to utilize a tripod effect to stabilize. I'm sure I will eventually have better flow or if not, old school it will be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but with a learning curve Good mouse, definitely takes some time to get used to the shape and build muscle memory. The 1st week using it seemed fine, but then I noticed I wasn't as accurate and ended up having to slow my mouse speed down 3 or 4 notches to be able to accurately click and move things on screen, especially while editing. As a positive I have not noticed any wrist discomfort on long sessions, so as far as ergonomics its an A+.

If you are currently using a standard mouse, the transfer to this one will be a bit of an adjustment with pointer speed. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be good with it. I love the fact that this is chargeable and has a long life battery, in addition to the design. It's a bit pricey, but less wear on the hand and thumb makes this a winner!
