Plug extender in and connected to router. Move it inside the house and works great!! Recommend to anyone. No need to spend lots of money on big extenders.

The EX6400 firmware was easy to update and setup for a mesh extender was simple. My router is in my shop which is detached from the house and the extender picks up the signal with excellent strength and provides wifi to the whole house which is a large 2 story. I don't often say that a product is everything expected but this one fills the bill.

WiFi velocity sometimes is reduced by 30% - 40% when using the extender compared to a direct connection with the router. It is not easy to set up, but looking into NETGEAR tutorials you can figure it out relatively quick.

Had issues the first time, exit out of the app and logged back in and connected right away. Guess it was a glitch. But once everything loaded and connected I moved it about midway between router and camera. The signal is great and camera works perfectly now.

We have a great router already, but we have places where the bandwidth does not reach as well and the connection is slower. The mesh extender does a great job in enhancing the router's signal. It is also a major plus that we do not have to have several different networks for one home. It makes it more user friendly that we can combine the extender and router on the original network.

My WIFI is encrypted; find the spot in the instructions that applies to your network and follow the instructions. My remote office had (perhaps) two bars of signal; with this unit I have full bars and excellent connectivity. Good value.

I had absolutely no signal at the back of my house now that I have NETGEAR signal everywhere in my house is amazing ! I recommend this extender to my mom and grandmother and now they have one in their house . I will keep recommending to everyone I know who needs it. I give this product 5 stars no questions asked!

Setup of the device was painless and the results immediate. I now have full, quality coverage on the second floor areas previously considered unreliable at best. With bedrooms at opposite ends of the house and hallway turns blocking the signal previously we had to stay at the end of the house with the router. Now, not only do we get strong Wi-Fi signal throughout the house but we can also get signal now on the outside deck at the furthest point in the yard from the router! Very pleased with this product, how did we survive for so long without it?

There is multiple settings and modes to fit preferred household need. I played with wired and wireless before finalizing settings and using. Both bands show great signals in an area previously lacking for camera, tv, streaming, etc. Netgear also allows the ability to install and use an app that give user tools to monitor signal, channel, performance.

It was very easy to connect to my R7000 router, which is in the basement, and move it to a location on the main floor. Previously, I had a good rating in that location now it is excellent. Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi extenderWe purchased the WiFi extender and have been pretty happy with it. The only problem I have noticed is that the extender almost appears to go asleep and I need to go to the settings in my phone or whatever I’m using to reconnect with it. Overall it works well.

Play around with where you plug it in after set up and see what spot best extends where you need it to go (took me three attempts before I found the best spot

With the router plugged in it seems to reach most of the house but with the extender it helps improve the stretch and gives us a further reach. WiFi moves quick on this extender with phones, laptops, and gaming consoles. would recommend highly!

Now we are enjoying WiFi on the property without any drops in speed or disconnections. This is especially important as distance learning continues. Thanks for a wonderful product!
