I saw this new router and liked the idea of the Nighthawk app and easy setup. I had no idea just how easy it would be. I was able to setup my new router with the same settings as my old one within a few minutes. When it rebooted and came up with my settings every device on my network connected immediately. I have multiple smart devices that are controlled by my Echo. I was afraid I would need to reprogram them all. Nope. Everything worked. Only used my iPhone. It took about 20 minutes. Great job Netgear! I’m now recommending Netgear routers to everyone.

The new AC1600 has an incredible broadcast range - we have a 3 story house and router is in the basement. We get full bars on all three floors end to end. Easy to set up and I like the Nighthawk app to manage the unit and users. Very happy with this NETGEAR router.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi that works!Wow. Finally, I can use my devices with abundant speed instead of waiting minutes for pages to load and refresh. With a recent shift of working from home, my previous router was so strained I couldn’t have multiple devices (phone, computer, and tv connected to the WiFi at the same time or neither would run. Now I can actually enjoy using the internet and at a high speed with great quality!

Haven’t had to reboot my WiFi router at all since upgrading or had any issues with streaming videos, music, multiple devices at once, ect. Definitely recommend

So Far So Good but still times the router needs to be rebooted because of loss of connect. Asked the salesperson for a recommendation, he said NetGear. Specs looked right, brought it home, super easy diy install with an intuitive iPhone app, and a week of quarantine later, I’m happy with 24/7 Zoom connection speeds and overall performance across CPU, TV, and portables.

The AC1600 began delivering about 3-4 times faster download speeds and made work and play more enjoyable and productive. Thanks

Setup was easy through the app to get started and everything else was super simple after that. I live in a large 2 story home and get WiFi signal all around and stream plenty while also using the internet on my laptop or phone and speeds are great. Over 100mbps.
