Plantronics Voyager 8200 UC - headphones with mic is rated3.73 out of5 by37.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my sanityThis product moved me into the 21 century. I can connect to my cell phone and my laptop. Switching from radio to cell phone calls and skype calls with no effort. Recently my company hired a very loud talker and I needed to cancel out the background noise. Clear audio from the microphone improves communication. Easy set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around great product ... nails the use caseWe work in an open, collaborative environment. This headset is perfect for the application. When turned on, it reduces noise (well enough) and connect every time to both my PC and iPhone. If a call comes in, the PC is muted and you can answer the call. Hanging up, un-mutes the PC. Because the system uses a USB-based wireless transceiver there are ZERO issues with listening and talking in full duplex, which is not true of standard Bluetooth devices on a PC. Further, the headphones mute when taken off the ears and the battery lasts 20+ hours. I LOVE these things. They may not have the best noise cancellation or the best sound (they are very good to my ears, though), the 8200UCs, again, nail the use case of a versatile phone/PC/music all-in-one solution. Love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Execllent Headphones, Fantistic quality and soundLOVE, LOVE these headphones; they far surpass any others I have tried or owned. I like them better than Bose, Beats or Jabra. They are comfortable with excellent sound, microphone and switching capability from computer to phone. I would highly recomend them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent luxury headsetThis headset stands up there with the Bose qc35 and the Sony x1000 noise cancelling headsets in terms of sound quality. (Surpassing them in certain cases)The noise cancelling is not quite as effective in busy areas as some competitors but the inclusion of noise rejecting microphones and long range USB dongle make this system infinitely better for business.Great comfort with the soft letter earcups. This headset is a great example of have your cake and eat it, so while at work you're not switching between headsets and music, it all just works.Having the headset fully charged in the box was a nice touch too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, except Active Noise CancellingI was really looking forward this headset and couldn't wait for their shipment. When I've received these, I was really amazed - they look brilliant, the sound quality is really good, also MIC is super according to call counterparts and I can wear them for a long time without any ear-pain. Even such detail as cover is minimalistic but well done.BUT!When I took them into the office, to finally try the feature I bought them primarily for, I can't describe the disappointment I felt.2 step ANC? What a ridiculous useless button. There is absolutely NO difference between 2 stages. And as was described earlier, The ANC trims just some low-level noise, like Air Conditioning, etc, but absolutely no voices, they are absolutely same like without headset.Voices in the office seems even louder with ANC feature, because it trims some low level frequencies, resulting in even cleaner surrounding voices. For such expensive headset this is really disappointing, not to mention that ANC should be the differentiating feature.I hope that Plantronics will make some update to make this headset as great as their potential is. e.g Make 2 stage ANC realy 2 stage, so higher ANC level will drop ALL surrounding noise and voice AT ALL to make this headset really useful when we need to focus in the open-space office.I am ready to review/create new review and my rating as long as Plantronics addresses this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trying hard to make it work still no luckI bought this couple of weeks back to be used at work however I am having a tough time to get this work with my Mac. Other headsets work well but this does not, I get strong static and rustling noise when connected and have trouble with conferencing apps like Zoom additionally audio breaks with almost all of the videos in you tube. The firmware is up to date and performed factory reset several times with no luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is No better headset. PeriodI work in communications sales and I get to see and try out a lot of headsets. This is by far the best headset on the market. It beats all of the Jabra headsets (Quality, Price and SupportIt's much better than the "Home User" Sennheiser. (These are "plasticy" and feel cheap.)Caveat. If you are an Office Worker only and if you don't travel, you might want to consider the PLT Focus instead. It has a similar audio quality but it has a BOOM Mic, it's smaller and it doesn't cover your ears entierly. it just sits on your ears.Or if you like Sports and Activities, the UC6200 might be a better fit.My 8200 in FANTASTIC on Planes, the 2 levels of Noise Cancellation are GREAT.Also I used it on a Lawn Tractor at full throttle for a test. My Wife said the sound was pretty good.I recommend this headset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not right for meI bought these a few weeks ago and used them while traveling for business. They were a litte too bulky for my taste and were a bit stiff to adjust. My biggest frustration was my bluetooth audio would not sync with video. I ended up using the cable for the duration of my trip. I never did use them for two-way calling but my co-worker says they're great. I would also rather have a hard case for safe keeping while in my laptop bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from highly recommendedI work in a open office and get distracted a lot from all the noise around me. I've used the Voyager 8200 UC for two weeks now and it really helps me focus on my work. It really makes a difference, I didn't even hear the fire alarm (test :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The 4mic array (boomless) is GREAT. The ANC is NOTI am giving this 3 stars - because the boomless mic set-up (using 4 different mic's with Noise Cancelling) is AWESOME. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) is quite poor comparing to other ANC headphones out there. If you do not have a call or anything else (media-wise) playing...you can truly hear E V E R Y T H I N G around you. Quite frankly, when the ANC is turned off, it almost sounds as if one has activated the "OpenMic" feature. There is little to no difference between the two ANC modes.PRO's: The sound quality of media, streaming audio, and music is pretty darn good over these headphones. Great bass response and also the higher, "sparkly" treble ranges sound great as well. Microphone - using for calls/web conference...This is where these headphones SHINE - and the Number ONE reason why I haven't returned them....yet. Again, I am not too pleased (especially for the $-point I paid) with the ANC. I really expect more from Plantronics, and I am trying to remain positive (perhaps an update is in the near future)Comfort - these headphones are quite comfortable!Controls - Once you get used to the controls, they are easy to use. I have noticed, however, that after the last firmware upgrade, I can no longer control my phone/device (and pc's) audio volume.Connectivity - Excellent! I highly recommend using the included BT600 with one's laptop - it makes quite a difference for call quality and distance.BATTERY LIFE - 21+ hours on full charge - Outstanding!CON's: Already mentioned the ANC
