Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung cheaped out on the charger. had 10 inch tablet before, went to 11 inch. found the larger screen nice, but a bit unwieldy. glad i didn't buy the 12 inch. for some reason they provide a fast charger even though the device supports super fast charging. i read some phones will no longer come with chargers or cords under the theory that you already have them. like most people i have hampers full of chargers and cords, but i really don't want to buy a device and find i have to purchase something extra just to make it work at it's best. or to buy new headphones or adapters because a headphone jack is no longer standard. there is a substantial difference between fast charging and super fast.charging, include the right charger. yes i had one, now shared between my note 10+ and my new tablet. thanks samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hurricane Ida interrupted my new tablet excitement. Got the tablet in a few days before the hurricane hit my area. Packed it in my evacuation bag and used it while waiting for a day. Then the power and internet went out. Power is back but no internet yet. Only got to use it one day before Hurricane Ida hit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent but would be better with 4:3 aspect ratio I'm tempted to give this four instead of 5 stars because of the 16:9 aspect ration. I much prefer the squarer 4/3 ratio on my Tab S3, which is much better for handwriting notes with the pen, one of the very things for which I want the Tab S tablets. With that caveat out of the way, the device is everything you could want it to be. The screen, despite being LED rather than AMOLED, is sharp and vibrant with deep blacks, the processor is fast and with the 8gb of ram model, at least, you can keep many tabs open. I sometimes been surprised at how many were still open with no lack of performance. The 6gig model is probably fine, but it's a significant purchase, and I wanted to future proof it as much as possible, like when I got the 12gb note 10+. Today, to be honest, no one needs 12 gbs. I've always used a 128bg sd card for my photos and do not have to with the 256.GB of storage. One of the immediately remarkable features of the table is the speakers, which are loud and clear enough that I can do my online video chats without using a headset. That is a new and welcome standard for me, as I talk with loved ones overseas several times a week. For me the 11 inch version is already hitting the limit of size I want in a tablet. I don't use the keyboard, as I have a Dell XPS 13 when I need one. For me the tablet is for doing things, sitting in bed or in an armchair, that don't require a lot of typing.
