Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy Serial Port CardFor someone who needs an extra serial port or two on your PC, these are very handy. They go into a Windows 7 Pro PC without a hassle, and could even be added to a Small Form Factor box. (I did not need that, so I can't get detailed on that setup.)We use four-wire phone cabling for a machine monitoring system, and those transmissions work fine with the StarTech card (plus adapters, sold separately). We've bought two now over the last two years, and they install easily and work steadily.
