I gave this a poor review because unlike older cable locks of the same model, you cannot swivel the lock to view the combination with the numbers facing up.

Works great
I have this for all my computers. my house was broken in to and they took everything but the laptop it was locked up with the cable. They tried to cut it and break it nothing it was the only thing left for electrons in my house

Doesn't work with HP
Will not work with my HP laptop. Took it back to Staples where I bought both the computer & the lock. Technician couldn't get it to work. Opened a brand new one; same result. Store manager tried; no go.
Went to Best Buy - bought a Dynex cable lock. It doesn't work either; I think it's not the locks - it's the computer. Love my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. Sure hope nobody steals it.
