Tripp Lite's 10ft DVI - HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cable allows interconnection between digital display devices, such as DTV's (Digital Television), Plasma displays, LCD TV's, and projectors, to Digital source devices, such as Digital Set-Top boxes, DVD/DVD-R players, and AV receivers. HDMI DTV's will display video received from existing DVI-equipped products, and DVI-equipped TVs will display video from HDMI sources. HDMI technology uses a much more compact and user-friendly connector than the existing DVI connector. Cable works great, look for the Dell update
i bought this cable because my new Dell with Windows 10 and old Dell monitor with analog connection would not wake up from sleep. I thought that by replacing the cable the problem would be solved. It worked for a couple of month, but after an update by Windows the problem came back. I updated all the drivers through Windows and through the System Setting but nothing work. Finally, after a month, Dell updated the computer and through their scan i found 9 drivers that had to be updated that Windows didn't find. So now everything is working, until the next Windows update...
I recommend everyone to look for the Dell update function on the computer if they have the same problem:
