Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mini plug falls out and simply will not stay plugged in!All seemed fine until I plugged the mini cable in. It kept falling out. It does not fit snugly like any normal cable should. It seemed cheaply made...how hard is it for one of two connective cables to work right?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not up to normal Tripp-Lite qualityThe USB-mini-B connector interferes with the case. Forcing it is not a good idea, as it will likely damage the connector or its solder joints. I've also had trouble with this hub recognizing thumb drives plugged into it. I may have received a lemon, but you cannot excuse the cable issue. Note that I have several other Tripp-Lite USB hubs, all of which have been great. I keep a U222-004-R in my go-bag; love it. I'm a big Tripp-Lite fan. Hey, Tripp-Lite is the only company that ever put the switch on a power strip at the correct end (ie, opposite the power cord; not adjacent to it)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed . . . (almost)All I needed was a 4-slot hub, which this is. The only thing I didn't count on was that the slots are so close together. I had to do a lot of switching around because some of my memory sticks are wider than most. In the end, I got it to work, even though I actually only have 3 working slots.
